Default CricketNext.com

I was brosing the site, and on the main page, at the bottom, there something caught my attention...

Quote:
Cricketnext.com is the Official Stamp of the Government of Bangladesh. The first and only dot com in the world receiving the honour and recognition.
What are they talking about? Any idea?

They have 10 pictures of captains at the top - from kenya, zimbabwe, sa, india, aus, wi, eng, pak, sl and nz. Only picture missing is the Bangladesh captain.

a**holes.

It is indeed very audacious of cricketnext.com to exclude the picture of Bangladesh skipper on the top, particularly, when the Kenyan skipper’s picture finds a place. If it is an inadvertent mistake, then they should come out and admit it. However, it smells very fishy. I have been following the website for a long time and they have taken every opportunity to bash Bangladesh cricket when one arose. What bothers me more is that they declared that they were the official Internet website for the World Cup. I don’t know how far that is true, but that makes the omission of Bangladesh captain’s picture all the more blatant. May be all of us should write to their reader’s forum and see what response, if any, we get. Their editor and columnists blast anyone who remotely makes a derogatory comment on an Indian player. Here they are, openly insulting our cricket. Who they hell they think they are?

After reading Tehsin's post I went to cricketnext.com site again, to write a letter to the editor. My gut feeling is: it will never be answered.

The way to do is to open their website. Almost near the end of the page is a box starting with the words "Dear Cricketnext.com". Click where it says "Click here". That opens up the registration page. Then you would know what to do.

One or two letters will not make a difference. I urge you all to send letters from all your email addresses. Then may be, just may be, they might have the courtesy of responding.

I think they managed to get hold of some postage stamps from Bangladesh - hence now they have the "official stamp of BD Government"

Default Pilot\'s Picture In

Great news! No apologies from cricketnext.com, but at least, now they have put Pilot's picture between those of Waqar and Jayasuriya. I have seen no mention of my letter. If anyone reads any explanation on this, please post it on this page. I am happy with the end result.

Default Pilot

I wonder if Cricketnext actually gained permission from Cricinfo to use Pilot's picture on their website! And if they are the "Official Stamp of the Government of Bangladesh" then why can't they take a picture of Pilot themselves or even ask the BCB for a picture?
