So Liton Das is the only player who changed his team. He played for Comilla for the last few years.

New CTG owners will apparently be Akram Khan and AGM Nasir. They should buy Mushy and make him their icon as he is the only senior available.

The people who manage BPL are not maximising it's commercial value:
They must try to increase the number of stadiums and stop playing two consecutives games in the same stadium, e.g, for Dhaka they should use Mirpur, Savar or Fatullah (one game in Mirpur and another in Fatullah)
In addition Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet should play at their home ground

The pathetic thing about this tournament is that there are rarely much improvements from the previous tournament. I'm still looking forward to this one, as I have a funny feeling this one will be the best one yet.

From what I have seen in the news in the last few days..
Rangpur signed Alex Hales and apparently talking with ABD (I doubt it but if anyone can pull it off its Rangpur)
Comilla signed Liam Dawson and Asela Gunaratne
Chittagong has agreed to participate in this years tournament... their retention list includes Sanzamul, Ronchi, Sikandar Raza and Shenwari i believe.
Dhaka has signed DreRuss, trying to pick Mushy with Shakib potentially not be available to start
Foreign list will be slim this year obviously with every side busy and Big Bash clash. But its not like the foreign players have been dominating either.
Hope every team picks a leggie... Lamchane, Tahir, Sodhi and so on. Also Rishad should be a good pick too.

Chittagong seem to have a very weak squad. I read that their foreign players aren't happy to be retained and canceled their contract and put them in the draft.

Chittagong owners are very cheap and don't want to spend a lot of money on foreign players. They are going to be last this edition as well.

Does anyone know the salary cap of BPL, if there is any?

Seems like they had problems with wage payment as well. Most likely not rich enough either.

Someone should sign Hazratullah Zazai from Afghanistan. Beast of a opener.
Only 20 years old.

Sandeep Lamchane is signed by Sylhet Sixers. really wanted this guy to play in the BPL and I am happy with this news. He is also signed for BBL but the article suggests he will play the entire BPL and only play BBL before and after the BPL takes place

From CI: "In the draft, the A+ category (USD 200,000) will include Shahid Afridi, Imran Tahir and Evin Lewis, while category A (USD 150,000) will include Mohammad Hafeez, Faheem Ashraf, Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga and Darren Bravo."
I just love Afridi's tenacity to put himself in A+ category. But knowing our love for Pakistani third class players, there will be bidders. I hope someone picks Tahir.... we need our players to play leggies.
On another note, Khulna signed Ali Khan from USA, the young seamer who played in CPL. Dont know how affective he will be in our conditions.

Curious to see who picks Ash... hoping its Khulna or Chittagong
