Don't know what Hasina told him, but the boy is not doing well after that phone call. Already got too full of himself?

His problem always has been the inconsistency, the guy is very consistent in inconsistency as the problem of our majority batsman.

I hope Afif doesn't become a one hit wonder. Have high hopes. Good that he has contributed with both bat and ball. But consistency is key-only way he can become like his idol Shakib. Should have capitalized on the opportunities in Sri Lanka.

You guys expect a young talent of 18 yrs old will come with a boom and continue to perform without any struggle on the way? is this realistic expectation?

Yes he will struggle once in a while and yes he has shown he has enough talent and yes there is no guarantee that he will be the next superstar in our national team. And yes to be the core player in the national team, eventually he need to be consistent.

But for now..... its not end of the world for him yet. He is still young and talented.... lets wait and observe he learn and grow.

Anyone can do well against Zimbabwe. He hasn’t impressed me with the ball but he has brought in too late with slight dew started at that stage, against a right handed batsman who hits spinners well. So, it wasn’t his fault it was Mr Dullahs.

But lesson from today, anyway. That he should not be bowling too late in the innings.

One phone call from Hasina, and Afif has become a total passenger in the team

I don’t know what type of player this guy is. That technique looks like a right handed trying to play left handed. That shot looked like a fish out of the pond.

But of cause at home against Zimbabwe everyone turns into a monster.
