Default Match Thread | BD vs Zim T20Is | Dhaka | March 2020

Good luck. We played 6 of them this year, only won 1 that also against depleted India. Two WCs coming up and we are missing the only player who is considered a specialist.

This series is becoming as meaningless as it can be.

When we send our A-team in England, they don't play against England Lions, or even County 1st XI - they play against County 2nd XIs. It's well understood it would be a meaningless competition for our emerging/fringe players to take on experienced and inform County players on their own backyard, but it would be beneficial for both sides when we take on County emerging/fringe players.

Matches against Zim no more count in ICC ranking/championship, and we know very well Zimbabweans are fishes out of water in Bangladesh. This was the perfect opportunity to groom emerging players like Naim and Afif, yet our management wasting those matches by letting seniors pad up their stats against Zim again.

Disappointed that Naim got dropped considering all the talk about supporting the batsmen and giving them time. He averages 37 and scored a fine knock against India in their own backyard.

I would like to see senior players rested. Litton Tamim has played their fair share of matches and I think they need to be benched.

Naim
Afif
Soumya
Mushfiqur
Riad
Mahedi
Saifuddin
Mahedi
Al Amin
Hasan Mahmud
Biplob
Nasum

Funnily enough, we do not have extra batsmen in our bench. Naim Sheikh should come in for either Litton or Tamim.

Back in the days, I would have described one of our neighbor like this ^. She was kinda cute but specially this part "Ektu goph ethchey notun" was true.
