Who will be our next Coach?
BCB is actively looking for the next head coach of Bangladesh. Did not find a single thread related to our coach hunt. So decided to open one. Please post all the related news, rumors, articles regarding our next coach in this thread.
Mahela Jayawardene, Tom Moody, Chandika Haturu, Mike Hesson, Russell Domingo, Paul Farbrace are in BCB's shortlist.
So, my beloved BCites... Who will take the responsibility to turn our bolods into world beaters? Who will Take the gloves away from Mushy? Who will show the door to sissies like Dullah, Mithun and uproot our next Shakib? Who will make Tamim actually do something about his 50 SR?

Make me the coach. I will leave my job and fix all problems. Haturi ar ki ek-nayotontro chilo, I will hurt players were it matters the most (Pocket). There would be 110% of effort from everyone from day one.

So many coaches are now available. Will BCB make the right choice?

I would say the three realistic choice are Domingo, Grant Flower, Hathurusingha. Hesson a very outside candidate-not sure he will take this job, considering the reason he quit NZ was that the traveling and job took a toll on him and his family.
I would take Domingo without much second thought. He worked with McKenzie, Langveldt, and has a solid 14-15 years of coaching experience at pretty much all level.
Hesson would be the best tactician among all these options. In fact he might get us to play aggressive cricket if at helm.
Not a fan of giving Hathu a second stint, considering how rocky his relationship was with seniors and other staff towards the end.

BCB is wasting time waiting for Hesson, don't think he's interested in us.
Like Jeesh said, taking Domingo should be a no brainer, if BCB can afford him. He has extensive experience developing cricketers - which is what we need more than a tactician.

Hesson is probably interested. India may not pick him and Hesson will probably prefer BD to Pakistan. But I imagine he will ask for a huge salary and IPL exception. BCB should be fine with any amount of salary for someone as big as Hesson but they will probably say no to the IPL break.
But yea having Domingo will mean an all SA coaching staff....... We will get better in all departments including choking

So its down to Hesson and Domingo, as per Daily Star.
Quite a steal if BD manage to get Hesson. Tactically one of the best around.

Yes at this point Haturi? A big no.
A coach with s Haturi? A big yes.
That is the type of coach we need for our crybaby players.

No need for that anymore -Shak is taking over and he's intimidating enough.
Tamim already took Shak's advice and dropped himself from the next series

Hesson will sit in the interview with BCB tomorrow, and then with BCCI on Friday.
I would still prefer Domingo, we need a coach more than a tactician.

BCB cant match what BCCI will offer. So it will be Domingo who will be our coach

Its not between BCCI and BCB. If BCCI wants Hesson, they will get him as no one in their right mind would pick BCB as their employer even if BCB offers a little more. But I am thinking that BCCI may stick to a local coach and in that case, we are almost confirmed to get Hesson

BCCI likely to continue with Shastri. All this is just a show.
Agree with Eshen, Domingo will be more of a builder and developer. Whereas Hesson needs readymade ammunition to fire.
