He can easily be one of the regular member for the England ODI team but coz of his poor fitness ECB doesn't really care...

Thank god he is not in the team. Very good SLA and attacking middle order batsmen. Could have been a threat with both bat ball in this WC.

He is a good player. It's a tough choice for him tho, I must say . . international stardom with potential IPL contracts or chicken and chips...hmm

I am appalled and, frankly, disgusted to hear that an international professional athlete is so irresponsible, unprofessional, and ill-disciplined as to smoke 40 cigs a day, be way out of physical shape at a very young age, and party late at night and show up for training late.

And I hold no reservations for the training staff, coaches, and management, either, who are letting this happen. Completely irresponsible, and there seems to be a lack of accountability from top to bottom. This needs to be nipped in the butt ASAP.

I just can't get my head wrapped around how an athlete is allowed to be so bad out of shape and, esp., smoke!!
