Pakistan batting will be destroyed by Australian bowling. Pak bowlers are very good but their batsmen are too crap to post a competitive score

^^ only way to find out is wait and see. Congrats to my home team west indies. Jason holder is the most dedicated player in their team followed by Sammy. He looks like he's threatening shakib's odi all rounder monarchy.

One of the sky pundit thinks Ireland and Bangladesh on same strength (he is Irish of course). Glad they are not in the QF. Someone also needs to remind him that their bowling is below par with UAE let alone with any other test nation.

IMO Pakistan is the only threat that Australia have for not playing another WC final at MCG. India's playing style in Australia is very easy for them to counter, in case we meet then it's going to be another repeat of 2003 WC final. Maybe Bangladesh can show more resistance than us in Semi final.

If Pakistan somehow manages to score 270 while batting first, then I think they have fair chance of beating them. This Australian batting line up is more than capable of scoring heavily against bowling attacks like India or Srilanka but maybe they don't have those quality players like Gilchrist, Hayden & Pointing to score against quality bowling unit like Pakistan under pressure of chasing in knock out games.

Still match up is in 65-35 in case of Australia's favour while it will be 70-30 if they face India & 75-25 if they face Bangladesh.

Biggest Irony of this World Cup, defying Pundits, Experts and everyone alike:

"oooh, these conditions does not suit the subcontinent players...bla bla bla" and now, look at quarter final match-ups....all 4 test playing subcontinent teams made it.

Alhamdulillah...I am very happy about it. But unfortunately there will be only 3 in semi-final and that is where we must make our mark. We can't lose this match by any means. We will win it, In Sha Allah.

After this world cup, regardless of the position we placed , I am looking forward to the Tigers playing more test matches and more tours to Down Under . How else can we gain experience and become better ?

Bangladesh was the only team that put up a fight against NZ besides Australia. Guptil and Mc Cullum what a combination at the top!!!! Compare that two Tamim and Imrul

sooo...Shakib al hasan is not such a bad captain now (he managed to get Guptill out)

This proves how AWFUL Bangladesh has been in 2014 losing badly to the same West Indies team.

i was very upset too for the India loss, however, two things cheered me up:

1. Pakistan agreed to tour Bangladesh next month.(I want to see Litton Das bat if he is selected)

2. Guptil Innings

Its soo fun to watch this NZ team. I will indeed root for the NZ as long as they last.

The other exciting team to watch is indeed AUS.

Two heavyweights going at each other. I hope NZ returns every bit of the hitting they are receiving at the moment
