Nafis Iqbal said it after the series. He did score a 100, if I recall.
How about Tamim's Ordinary Zim bowlers? Losing the series.

08) Masrafee (for obvious reason)
09) Mosarraf ( Two SLA would be obvious spin bowling option)
10) Al-Amin (His death-over bowling is way better than Shafiul and we'd need it)
11) Taskin (Good chance for him to improve his accuracy during initial overs)
This will be my 11

Facepalm.

Team needs to hire someone to teach some of the players how to talk.

This also shows a bad mentality. You want to have confidence in yourself and be able to spot opponents' weaknesses, but you also can't be complacent and show no respect to a player or a component of a team and assume it'll be a breeze. It was the same attitude before the second game vs AFG after barely winning the first one.

This is what quotes on the report:

Rahman, himself a part-time leg-break bowler, said: "We have played against a difficult leg-spinner, hopefully there won't be any problems playing against England.

"We are not seeing Adil Rashid that way. I don't think he will be too difficult to face."

+++++
Not sure how that is a facepalm reaction. Rashid is decent but not great like Yasir Saha or did something that is noticeable that we need to afraid off. He simply said he hope we won't have problem facing him.

It's not like he said he is ordinary like Nafees and Tamim did before

Nafis scored the hundred in the practice match. Giles was on peak form that time. Nafis played him very well and hense was the comment.

He pretty much did call him ordinary and didn't say "hope."

Rashid may not be some WC spinner, but that doesn't mean you have to call an opponent ordinary or a facsimile in front of mic.

I had read the quotes and the article. I didn't come at a sudden conclusion.

An example of jumping to a conclusion would be to read about a young pacer's 5-0-29-0 figures in a practice match and claiming that he might be better than Rubel.

Moeen Ali: 'Adelaide was a long time ago'
Quote:
“I've played in Bangladesh four or five times and this was a good reminder that as soon as you get a bit fuller, above the eyeline, they will take you down. My role is to look to keep the economy down as much as I can, try to get wickets through bowling two or three dots in a row,” said Moeen. “He's [Rashid] good. He cramped up a little yesterday. He said to me that he feels like now he knows what type of bowling he has to do here.”

I hope they are not seriously considering to outscore England on a flat track.

England Missing Joe Root, Morgan, Ale Hales and James Anderson...HUGE opportunity to beat them 3-0.

Although:

Watch out for Mark Wood, he is pretty fast and bowled well against Pakistan. He is like the English Taskin, expensive but is a wicket taker. Chris Woakes also seems to be in the form of his life. Ben Stokes is an X factor with either Bat or Ball. David Willey is one of the Best T20 bowlers in the World...so it shouldn't be too difficult for him to make an impact in this ODI Series...It is still a challenge. Jos Buttler almost took the game away from Bangladesh in Adelaide, now that he is captain and promoted up the oredr, I am sure he would be licking his lips for Revenge.

The Islamic Spin army of England is a perfect foil for their Pacers. Ben Duckett is also pretty explosive batsmen.

Sabbir is also expecting high scoring affairs -

Quote:
সাব্বির: উইকেট খুব ভালো থাকবে আশা করি। ওরা যদি ৩০০-৩৫০ রানও করে, আমরা তাড়া করতে পারব। এই দক্ষতা ও সামর্থ্য আমাদের আছে।

^ Dang guys? We need square turners. Just one pacer (mash) and one medium pacer (Sarkar). Rest all spinners. "Kill them all and come back alone."

I also favour a dustbowl and have England Bowl first. Keep Moeen Ali and Rashid Quiet and once they are tired enough, counterattack to 300-320+(Dreaming too big?)

I can see management's point though. Flat tracks are norm in LOIs nowadays. We can take advantage of our home conditions with low-slow low scoring wickets, but will eventually have to adapt to high scoring flat tracks. With NZ tour and CWC coming up, I guess they want to start the process now.

Rubel and Al Amin cant bat. Mash cant bat anymore either...was only ever decent against spin. With taskin that makes 4 genuine Jacks. We need Shafiul to extend the batting to 8.
