Wooloongabbbaa

Australia are the favorítos.

And they are the team with the most experience in day-night Test...their last test was such....so they are going back-to-back

Here's the preview from ESPNCricinfo:
Quote:
Before England, before the no-ball, before the prison sentence and the exile from the game, Mohammad Amir came to Australia as a teenager on Pakistan's last Test series visit and impressed all with his speed, swing and stamina. Older and wiser, he still has the ability to swing the ball at high pace, and has the potential to cause chaos in the Australian batting order if he gets it right - and if Pakistan are able to hold onto their catches.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/australi...y/1072369.html

Cricbuzz's preview:

Quote:
Australia: There has been talk that Australian selectors may opt for a four-pronged pace attack and hand Chadd Sayers a Test debut. However, more than likely, Australia will stick with off-spinner Nathan Lyon after his return to form in Adelaide coupled with an impressive record at the Gabba.

Pakistan: Yasir Shah, Pakistan leg spinner, is in doubt with a back injury and his participation could have a major bearing on the outcome of the match. Mohammad Asghar, 17-year-old left-arm spinner, has been included in the squad as cover but is unlikely to play if Yasir is ruled out with Mohammad Nawaz, left-arm spinner, favoured to get the nod.

The batsman with the most runs versus the bowler with the most wickets in day/night tests battle it out in a couple of hours time....

Josh Hazlewood versus Azhar Ali.

Hazlewood's home record is not good as his away record, although 50 of his 94 wickets have come in matches played at home, the price of each wicket is 27.07(his overall average is 25.61)

Azhar have never played test cricket in Australia, but his record against them is impressive- 431 runs from 8 innings, average of 61.57 compared to overall average of 45.27, and 2x100 & 2x50

Renshaw is looking very comfrtable at the crease...not afraid to use his feet against the leggie.

Usman arrives to face the men from his country of birth

Steve Smith is hungry, I smell a double century from him...Pakistan bowlers were hardly impressive...I didn't like the way Yasir started. He kept on persisting with a leg-stump line to the lefties. Too straight, it would have been better if he were to pitch the ball outside the off-stump allowing the lefties to play against the spin by driving through the covers, bringing the slip, wicketkeeper, cover fielder in action, also a chance of inside edge onto the stumps...

When I first saw the scorecard this morning the first thing that came to my mind was, 'Gotta be at least one run-out'. Most of the batsmen weren't too cautious against the Aussie bowlers, especially Starc who is exceptional wicket-taker with the newish ball in his hands.

Now Amir and Sarfaraz are trying their best to get their team as close as possible to the follow-on target.

And a run-out ends their innings...Australia not enforcing the follow-on, have lost David Warner cheaply.

Lol they don't have to, they have lost the last 9 tests in Aus, they are naturally hopeless down-under.
