I think Bangladesh are responding to the bouncer threat made by Mickey Arthur..thats why all the new players are tall and they dropped the short players like Mushy...lol

Specially in Bangladesh, where the average height is around 5 ft 6/7, there he's probably quite tall.

I think his form of late with the bat, even though in 9 matches, show me that he’s closer to great than OK, probably more in the middle like good, or really good, but I don’t think he’s just OK.
I also agree with your disagreements. You see, you also could not decide infact, what grade he deserves. He is an effective cricketer who works hard in the crease and smaller contributions looks big at the end of the innings, that's why he gets overated due to his nature and time of contribution.

Actually if you look at his scores he only scored 2 fifties in 9 innings. Very hard earned runs. It's not that, he could score a lots of boundaries and did mercy on the opponents by taking singles. That's what was possible for him, again it is in positive sense also that he is capable of doing that. Not dependant on 4s like our batsmen.

Before he was captain, he was coming a bit higher up the order, but he took himself down a bit as a captain. He rates himself as a utility cricketer at the lower order, where technique does not matter much and he is comfortable there. I am not at all undermining his contribution for his teams victory. As a utility batsman, he is performing his role. but his contribution is very good in the team, but as a batsman he is ok. Ok is not a negative remark at all. Look at tendulkar what he has done in that 9 matches even at this time of his career, that's a great batsman. Dhoni is far away from him and that standard

Tendulkar is a great bastmen, but he didn't do that much until the last 3 innings of the CB series, but that was great.

Also I think if utility players can be match winners, then no matter how they do it they should be considered more than OK. Recently, Dhoni has taken the form of Micheal Hussey of Australia a little, coming in late to boost their total, or recovering the innings. I'm not comparing Dhoni to Hussey, because Hussey has been very consistent for the last 2+years.

But I'm wondering, do you consider Micheal Hussey to be just OK (I'm not trying to take a shot at you, I'm actually curious to what you think)?
