Losing enthusiasm in following WI after watching their same old perennial performance.

.....
Shivnarine Chanderpaul's 16th bolwed dismissal was by Monty Panesar today.
104 matches, 108 innings and bowled only 16 times!
One's got to respect this guy !!!!!

...at least they coud avoid an embarassing 10 wickets defeat!
Good things: Sammy, Bravo and maybe Edwards are names to rely on in the future.
Bad... Ganga performed awfully! Fielding, as usual? Bowling... quite poor and Taylor lost his talent.
+ Collymore is improving... as a batsman!

Chanderpaul looked fantastic, but the rest of the team was terrible.
I can't believe how bad Ganga was!!
I hope Gayle comes alive for the ODI's. If this most recent innings is any indication, I think he will.

By the way, I shouldn't say the entire rest of the team was terrible. Bravo played some good innings. Maybe it's time to move him a little higher than number six.
It's odd though: despite almost always batting 6th or 7th, he's only got one "not out" in his test career. He usually does a good job of looking good and then throwing his wicket away, but does that stat seem a little odd to anyone else?

How does this guy Panesar get so many wickets. His bowling is so ordinary from what I've seen and yet he picked up seven 5-wicket hauls in 18 tests!?

He's getting better with his loop and those ripping spins, and has been using the 3rd day roughs expertly. He forces batsmen come forward and judge his flight. Only Shiv succeeded in patiently judging those in this series.

Well good for him. If England finally has a world class spinner in the making, they may have hope after all.

I guess, he has to perform quite consistently to be in the team. Playing against WI (minus Lara, Sarwan and Chanderpaul) is a dream for any spinner of the world. He capitalized on the opportunity.
