We still haven't got a wicket. Malaysia's run rate is very slow though.

So when we will see that old Ash?
New Ash: frequent Run Outs, Too Cautious, less than 100% strike rate in T20, no match winning performance in interntional matches.
Malaysia is not that weak afterall. But the Mithun batted, it seems things were not that bad...

Our team sucks, I told you guys. SL team is the most strongest. Pak is also better than us. Our batsmer mostly "jodi laigga jai" type.

Thats why Ash still should be out of the national team. He's still out of sorts and his performance this year is more then enough to say that he should be out of the team. We should keep the players from last tour.

100 strike rates are rarer than you all are making it out to be in T20s...
of batsman who have faced at least 200 balls in their careers, the highest SR is Yuvraj's at 154 (ash is prominent at 148, though he's faced fewer than 200 balls). Junaid siddique actually has a SR of 159...go figure. aggressive openers like Ryder and Dilshan have strike rates i the 120s...so a sub 100 strike rate isn't unheard of in T20 cricket.
also ash was batting around a collapse...Hom got out cheaply, and 4-5 wickets fell in as many overs while he was batting.

Really depends on the conditions and the oppositions. The conditions are low and slow with a lot of turn so it's not the greatest pitch to bat on but this is Malaysia we're talking about so there shouldn't be an excuse for Ash having just 1 boundary and having a SR less then 100. He did do better then every batsman today except Mithun which is pretty sad.

So what Excuse does Dickens (Whom alot of you guys said was unfaily dropped for Ash), Hom (Who's the Next Bradman), and Naeem (He needs Higher in the Order, not getting a fair chance) get for getting out for 0, 5 and 1 in span of 1 over?
At least he was Rotating the Strike keeping the scoreboard moving during the Collapse, if he got out in the Teens we would have been in some deep feces
These pitches in China are real turners, Pakistani Women were getting massive turn ... It evens out the playing field.

But Murad bhai we are a test nation, while Malaysia is not even an ODI side. Even our D team should be able to put up 175+ run.

Ash alone with his batting and bowling good enough to capture first gold for Bangladesh. LOL.

Lack of big hitters is a big problem for bangladesh... we don't have them in the National side... and now it seem we don't have one in the Asian Games side either... against Malaysia we should have bullied them with the Bat and scored 170-180 runs
although we did manage to show our difference in class with the ball, the batting still leaves a lot to be desired.... Why wasn't Tamim sent with this squad?... he could have had a much needed batting practise with him being fit and all...
