If you focus more on this 20 over format you will get what you don't want. Inconsistant players who know very little of basic innings building.

in that case, do u think it will be wise to make a specialized 20/20 team, who will only focus on this format. i think its time to make a whole new 20/20 team and not interrupting our test and ODI squad. if thats the case, my team will be

a 20/20 team (outside of national team ODI and test)

Najmus sadat
Amit mazumder/Rony Talukder
Marshall Ayub (VC)
Shamsur rahman/Nazimuddin/Nadif chowdhury
Alok kapali (C)
Farhad reza
Dhiman ghosh
Arafat Sunny/Mosharraf Rubel
Nasir Hossain
Ziaur rahman
Robiul islam Shiplu/Subhashis Roy

i exclude : aftab ahmed, shahriar nafis, nafis iqbal, shohrawardi shuvo--- because of their higher probability of getting into national team (test or ODI very soon, of course will depend on their form)

i think if we nurture this team for a long time. we will be able to get a good 20/20 team in near future without disrupting national player's mindset.

You cannot really afford a full separate 20/20 team, no countries will agree to afford 15+ players in a tour.

actually england tried almost a new set for 20/20 team. but i think in long run, we could be benefitted. less injury plus more exposure to international area.

except few players, i dont think there is much difference with our national team player and A team player.

True but we really need to talk about him.
He has been so consistent.

nasir and shuvagoto were consistent with the bat, they just didn't make any big scores though (they're 20 and 30 scores). a number of these guys have been disappointing mainly subashis, mithun and rony (nasir was as well but to a lesser extent). not bad from marshall though, hopefully he can keep up this consistency or improve upon it, the others need to get into it a bit more.

Both our national team and academy team are now over dependent on players from 2006 U/19 batch!

Marshall at best is a part time bowler. If he is to be considered for the national team in future, he should be judged by his merit as a batsman only.
