1) Tamim Iqbal - 17 and 47. Got out both the times after being set. Reason behind Imrul's run out. Ugly shot to get out. He knows he is far better than what he has shown. --> 5

2) Imrul Kayes - 33 and 13. Looked good. Dismissed after getting a good start in first innings. --> 6

3) Junaid - 29 and 37. Averages 22.17. In both innings surpassed his average. Would love to see him converting those starts to late 70's and 80's. --> 6.5

4) Raqibul Hasan - 11 and 24. Good technique. Has the qualities to make the NO: 4 spot his very own. -->5.5

5) Mohammad Ashraful - 12 and 101. When he gets going, there is no better sight in world cricket. A very deserving century. --> 7.

6) Mehrab Hossain Junior - 29, 23 and 2 wickets. Settled nicely in both the innings. Ugly, unnecessary shot in the second innings. --> 5.5

7) Shakib Al Hasan - 26, 96 and 6 wickets. Nothing needs to be told. An A+ performance. --> 9.

8) Mushfiqur Rahim - 12* and 61. Promote him upstairs. --> 8

9) Mashrafe Mortaza - 2 runs and 4 wickets. Bowled the way a strike bowler should. Deserved more wickets than he got. Disappointing with the bat when it is known that he can bat. -->7

10) Shahadat Hossain - 2 wickets. Very predictable with his bowling. --> 4.

11) Mahbubul Alam - 1 wicket only but bowled a lot better than his stats show. Like Mashrafe, deserved more than he got. --> 5.

Tamin- 6
Kayes- 5
Junaid- 6
Rokib- 5
Ash- 8 (not only for his century but his temperament; he actually used his brain and played to the situation..I would say this is his best test century as it was the most meaningful).
Sakib- 9.9 (dont want to give ten but i do hope this guy continues and becomes something really special in world cricket)
Mehrab- 5 (although contributed well in bowling and shows good batting technique, he got out in a silly way in second innings when application was required)
Mushfiq- 8
Mortaza- 7
Mahbubul- 4 (not enough line and length in his bowling apart from opening morning)
Rajib- 6

1. Tamim - a solid 7 (should have given him more but should wait till he makes a ton.
2. Imrul - 6 (in the making of a good opener with Tamim)
3. Junaid - 5 (1 above fail mark as he showed how ugly he is to bouncers)
4. Raqibul - 6 (benifit of doubt as this is his comeback test from injury)
5. Ash - 8 (should have given him 1 more if he stuck around and lifted the team total a bit more)
6. Mehrab- 7 (good showing overall)
7. Shakib - 10!!! (no question asked)
8. Rahim - 8 (bat and keeping) both were well done)
9. Mash - 8 (world class bowler to me)
10. Robin- 7 (gave a good support to Mash but unfortunate to miss out on multiple wickets)
11. Shahadat - 5 (he looked like he was there in making up the numbers)

OVERALL TEAM PERFORMCE - 8 (genuine effort to lift the team after doing poor in the first innings. The team played as a unit where they seemed to understand all is not lost if the first innings went bad or a couple of sessions went bad...we want such repeatation......WIN will come soon with that)

Looks like Sohel bhai is a very tough teacher to impress, anyway here are my ratings:

1. Tamim -7 (Should have continued a bit longer)
2. Imrul -6 (Was unlucky in the 2nd innings)
3. Junaied -6.5 (Couldn't capitalize in any of the starts)
4. Rock -5 (Looked solid as long he was there, but should work on his defense)
5. Ash -8.5 (One of the most matured innings I've ever seen by him)
6. Mehrab -5.5 (Was looking to score off every ball)
7. Shakib -9.25 (Nothing needs to be explained here)
8. Mushy -8 (As said by others you can't waste a talent like him at no.8)
9. Mash -8 (Bowled his heart out and you can't ask better than this when you're being deprived from so many plumb lbw's)
10. Shahadat -5 (Was too predictable at the end)
11. Robin -7.25 (Luck was also not favoring him as with Mash)

Here's mine:
1.Tamim-5 [his 2nd innings should've been a higher score he was in good touch but lacked patience]
2.Imrul-4 [He is still new & didn't play enough matches for the team to be judged yet]
3.Junaid-5 [He lacked patience and technic , he must learn how to use the back foot]
4.Rakib-4 [Not doing his best, perhaps he should play with more guard next time]
5.Ash-8 [Batted well, but he shouldn't get carried away after a hundred]
6.Mehrab-3 [Not using his gifted temperament at all, should stick to his wicket and take singles, that's what he is best doing at and IMO should do that in order to score big in tests]
7.Shakib-9 [Great cricket from him, but he should add more orthodox shots to his batting]
8.Mushfiq-8 [Showed good technic and temperament, he should bat up the order and maybe take mehrab's spot]
9.Mash-6 [Not his best , maybe he should take a break]
10.Shahadat-6 [Played an ordinary match IMHO, should learn to move the ball in both ways]
11.Mahbubul-6 [Played well for a new player, should try to increase his speed just by a bit, that should help him]

If I count the first innings performance this is how I would rate them:

1)tamim= 6 (made 64 runs avg 32)
2)Kayes= 4 (made 46 runs avg 23)
3)Junaid= 6 (made 66 runs avg 33)
4)raqibul= 3 (made 35 runs avg 17.5)
5)ash= 8 (made 113 runs avg 56.5)
6)mehrab jr= 5 (took 2wks and made 52 runs avg 26)
7)shakib= 9 (took 6 wks and made 122 runs avg 61)
8)rahim= 7 (took 3 catches, 1 run out, made 73 runs avg 36.5 and was not out in the 1st innings)
9)mash= 5 (took 4 wkts and made 2 runs avg 1)
10)robin= 3 (took 1 wkt and made 2 runs avg 1, was unlucky to get run out in the 2nd innings)
11)shahadat= 3 (took 2 wkts and made 5 runs avg 2.5 and was not out in the 2nd innings)

our tail enders performed poorly with the bat, top orders did well this time but all the credit goes to the middle order for putting a good show

Tamim - 6 looked invincible until his dismissal. i'm sure he'd have learnt from it.
Kayes - 4 good intent; seems to lack certain qualities for an opener though.
Junayed - 6.5 of the top four, he looked most confident and sure of his place. didn't throw wicket.
Raqibul - 4 showed decent technique, but did not look confident.
Ashraful - 7.5 mans century, boys resilience at the end. is he playing for the team or his numbers?
Mehrab - 6 looked very confident. a loose shot one too many times though.
Shakib - 8.5 played with determination; albeit his success aided by lots of luck.
Rahim - 7.5 ironically, the 'baby' seems most like the man of the team. gritty, determined stuff.
Mash - 4 unfortunately, beating the bat means nothing. hit those edges; you're our spearhead.
Robin - 3.5 getting close isn't enough in test cricket.
Shahadat - 2 trying his heart out, but not working smart. add more facets into your game.

pretty varied huh? i know some will think i judged harshly; but thats reality. getting close, isn't close enough.
