The Buttler Escapades
What really happened?
Was not watching the match, so couldn't not give a comment on it....
This what Cricinfo commentary mentions:
Quote:
27.1
W Taskin Ahmed to Buttler, OUT, that could be the match! Huge appeal for lbw as Buttler moves across his crease and misses his flick. Not given on the field. They call for the review. Such a key wicket. Well, this is very close. Think it hit him in line. He's down the pitch a bit. He's not hit it. Three reds, he's gone!
JC Buttler lbw b Taskin Ahmed 57 (57b 7x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Who's got the video, please share..thanks

And then this happen afterwards:
Quote:
It's all kicked off in the middle. Buttler has lost it towards the Bangladesh players. Looks like something was said. The umpire has to step in, then he walks off. Blimey, that escalated quickly to quite Ron Burgundy. The celebrations were certainly wild, but not sure what else happened. Chris Woakes got involved a bit, too. Anyway, here's Rashid.

BD were celebrating in style. Butler being a sore loser was angry and said something to Riyad, who was the nearest BD player to him. Riyad then said something in return and Butler wanted to have a go at Riyad. That's when umpires stepped in.
Butler kept fuming and swearing as he walked off and even looked back at our players once.

Would be shocked if it wasn't a Bangladeshi player who said something first. Buttlers one of the calmest players in world cricket and to get him to react like that something serious would have to be done.
The fact that Buttler didn't react at all whilst they were immaturely screaming and celebrating in his face and only reacted shortly afterwards whilst walking off suggests that as well.

Buttler walked straight off after going through the handshakes. Was Stokes who had a chat with Tamim. I don't see where I've been biased at all.

Lol these princesses can always dish out but can never take it, no wonder the Aussies was always one up over them psychologically
If it was something we said, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Mushfiq

Butler is going to be a great captain and probably the successor after morgan. Don't show petty emotion on small matters. Keep up the spirit is all I am going to say.

Which could still mean anything from their immature actions towards him on the field or if something was actually said.
As I said above, the fact he didn't initially react when they turned to him and started screaming and jumping in his face and how calm a person Buttler is suggests to me it was something that was said.

Thanks buddy.
Looks like the overturning of the decision and the celebrations by the Bangladesh players ticked off Buttler. Maybe that wasn't something he was used to in his country. It wasn't sledging.
Maybe trolling.
Mash once again showed his humbleness by trying to calm the non-striker batsman.

If you look at the video, it was Tamim who seemed to have said a few words after the players moved on from showing off to Butler. And at the handshake incident as well, it was Tamim Stokes was having a word with.
Needless to say, it shouldn't have been done. Butler shouldn't have made a big deal out of it afterwards too to have other players go at it after the game is over.

Funny thing is he doesnt realize Ben Stokes behaves like a thug half the time going after opposition-even at the end of the match today.
Buttler has also been sledging the Bangladeshis (Although must say very politely). So perhaps that combined with the importance of the wicket made the Tigers celebrate like that.
But still didnt warrant that sort of protest

Looks like Bairstow vs Tamim and then Stokes joins in. Bairstow seems to give Tamim a deathgrip handshake.

Nothing excuses Buttler having a go at the BD players. Don't care how calm or quiet he usually is. He could have easily complained about it to the umpires if there was something said to him, without trying to be physically violent. Also, shameful from Stokes.

Wasn't Stokes constantly bombing Kayes with the f-bombs, our desi umpires were too timid to call them out or report them and Erasmus probably didn't care
