Papon talks rubbish lots of times. This drama wasn't created by him though. Those are the facts.

The fact is:
When asked by the reporters (one to one), Faruk criticized process change and raised his concern that he cannot work effectively in the new process. And when asked by Reporters (in open forum), Papon criticized the performance of the selectors ( Faruk, bashar and Nanno) to defend process change. But then he failed to explain then why they are still under consideration ( all of them one by one) if they have done such a bad job.
You need to know further facts? To defend his new process change he pretty much threw his senior players under the bus and created new questions about the relationship and communication problem between Senior players and the coach.
Criticizing a process change is not a drama, demeaning quite a few people ( multiple of them) and claiming credit to "player selection" and "conveying players' message to the coach" to defend his process change in press is drama.
You may not agree with Faruk, but in this mess Faruk ( and other two selectors, senior players) were much more graceful in their response than how Papon is acting in the media. Papon looks like a loose cannon, don't know what to say and what not to say in public, he will sell anyone to gain few bucks.

Mr Papon just lost it! He should resign and now is the time to do so.

The funniest part of that interview was Papon saying, Heath Streak was a great coach but did we negotiate with him? No! Why should we negotiate now with Faruk?
I was sitting and thinking wth is this guy on about? HE SHOULD HAVE NEGOTIATED with Heath Streak and he is like boasting he didn't! Damnnn... He is surely a character

Yet stayed on. That is the Drama here.
You lambast a process, you lambast the coach, you don't believe the new system is workable (Yes, that what he implied wholeheartedly), you resist to change, you want your old system back, you question the independence of the selection committee and finally you GO PUBLIC with it; then suddenly you have a change of heart??? You are on board?
If he is not a Drama queen then certainly he is a Drama King.

Chief selector Faruque is part of the newly proposed system!
He is not going anywhere
What's New:
Two parts selection policy for Tigers:
1. Selection Panel:
- 3 members like before lead by a chief selector will form the initial squad
- Faruque Ahmed, Habibul Bashar and Minhajul Abedin
2. Selection Committee
- 6 members in total included: 3 selectors, Head Coach, Team manager, Head of cricket operations
- Faruque Ahmed, Habibul Bashar and Minhajul Abedin
- Hathurusinghe, KM Sujon, Akram Khan

If we keep seeing the likes of Mosharof and Kamrul get picked at this stage of our cricket, I'll start to miss Faruk! We are way beyond the point of having to bring out these embarrassing cricketers in broad daylight. Nothing in Kamrul suggested he should be anywhere near the B-team, let alone A-team. Instead he was playing Test cricket. Nope. Crazy talk!
That Mosharof throwback was clearly a "favor" pick. There's no way he beat out all the competitions to be in the squad and lose us the first ODI game!
The fact that we showcased Mehdi to the world on the same day as Kamrul shows how far we have to go as cricketing nation.

Faruque stuck to a process when he picked players (domestic stats, development of a player in HP unit). Current selection panel picking players randomly. Today, one of their gambles paid off, two failed.
