Default Why send out Kamrul ahead of Taijul?

I was shocked, Kamrul was no. 11 in the previous innings and now he was promoted to no. 9.

Taijul and Shaiful both are more accomplished batsman and have scored some vital runs here and there for us and management sent Kamrul up the order. I mean seriously, why? Why?

This blunder could cost us the match.

Broad was bowling well, I think they though out of the 3 tailenders kamrul is the most hopeless, I think they wanted kamrul the see off broad as broad was bowling his 7th over of the spell

At first I was shocked as well. But now that I think about it, I think they sent the worst batsman on purpose. Maybe they thought whatever number of balls he played or scored off would be bonus. The ploy didn't work though. He is as bad as Taskin with the bat.

Because Kamrul is a nothing wicket. If you could steal a 10 run partnership at that situation. You take it and run.

You lose Taijul/Shafiul and the game is over

Mentally, I would be more comfortable in knowing that Shafiul will be the last batsman coming in to support Sabbir if it came to it than Kamrul.

To save the wild card "Safiul" against England, not a bad move (at least they tried).

If their is a need for a nightwatchmen for a tailender then it would be something utterly stupid.

Its not only about shielding, its about the number of wickets left. If we had 3 left today, we would be confident. Now its on a knife's edge.

But if tajiul got out and then we might be all out... Hopefully our players have strong enough mentality to assess the situation

This. They were hoping Karul could pull out some flukey runs or a 6 or two like Shahid..

How do these things work? Does Taijul practice his batting against pacers like Broad in the nets this evening? Or is that overkill and too much to ask for anyway and probably not stipulated in his contract.

If I was Taijul, I would go to the indoor practice facility, and practice 4 overs with the bowling machine simulating swinging deliveries.

Don't worry he has Shafiul and Kamrul bowling to him as we speak

Is it just me, or since Abul got his 100 at No.11 all of our tail started sucking at legendary level? Or, our tail started to suck since Riyad got promoted? It was him who had inspired the tails, wasn't it? Shafiul, Abul, Rubel, all scored runs with him. Now they don't even know how to hold a bat? Riyad magic!

How can you be a cricket and not swing the bat properly? I mean how do you start playing cricket? But lifting up a bat. I don't anyone who started out by bowling first.

Yeah? Kamrul Rabbi would have won us the game with the bat after Taijul and Shafiul got out had he not been sent earlier, eh?
