Default Team India & Billion Dollar Investments at Stake: How Honest are Our Players as an Individual?

India is facing World Cup Exit.
India’s fate is on the hands of the players of Bangladesh.
Billions of dollars of investment and revenues are at stake.
Bangladeshi players will decide the fate of the huge corporate investment in Cricket.

The dark force will do anything to save India, to save billions of dollars.
Millions of dollars will be flying around for those who are willing to compromise.

No one can buy the integrity of Team Bangladesh.
But an individual player can be compromised.
How honest are our players as an Individual?
Is their integrity strong enough to battle a million dollar offer?

I was looking eye on eye on each of these players individually.
I see youth, I see strength and integrity.
I hope I am seeing it right.

Dear Individual Member of Bangladesh Team,
The dark force of cricket is now behind you, following you all the time—looking for a moment of weakness.
Please don’t let us down.

They will make us proud to reach S8...no worries.

I hope they have the moral strength to stand strong against the dark forces of cricket. I lost all my confidence on cricketers honesty after Hansi Cronje admitted guilt. Maybe this time my Bangladesh team will help restore some of that lost faith.

I can't believe we're questioning our own players' integrity?

Someone alleged Mash taking bribe after we lost in that infamous Zimbabwe game, look how hard and well he's worked since then to prove his worth. If we don't trust our players, we are no better than our neighbours.

May be you haven't realized what babubangla is trying to do yet. The last thing you can do is take him seriously about what he's trying to say by pointing at the faces of our players.

They will be under a lot of pressure Sunday. This is the most important game since Bangladesh beat Holland in ICC in 97 when Akram Khan played that amazing innings and brought us back from a certain exit. Anybody who messes up Sunday will never be forgiven. NEVER.

Frankly speaking, I can hardly distinguish his serious posts (if any) from the comical ones. It crossed my mind that he's trying to block the lame "Will [insert team 1] bribe [insert team 2]?" threads. I hope that's the intent.

I know Babu bhai joke around a lot, but I don't think he is insensitive enough to joke about this kind of issue.

I don't take our players as angels, but I hope they are smart enough to realize what qualifying to the next round may mean to the country, Bangladesh cricket, and their individual careers.

......In that case we would arrange Bermudian passport for our players for the rest of their lives.......

(it is just the quip i threw to my wife.......when she was pointing about the ominous filthy grip of bookies all around the cricket field! We do have full faith in our players, no doubt; but the bookies would try to put all their effort to see Ind back in the WC)

Financial lossses to India; that is the gift from Bangladesh players and world cup as they always ignore Bangladesh to visit their country. I always supported India when Bangladesh was not in this position but their ignorance made me annoyed.

the post really does send a shiver in the body. hope the virus stays away. onething is for sure, staying in bangladesh for the last couple of years one thing that I have got to know is that there is a section of youth in our country which has massive patriotism.

and belive me no bribe can be bigger for these guys than the nation's pride. come tomorow we may suffer a banana skin who knows but never should the integirity of these young players be questioned. at least not for the next decede or so.

I would be honest here...
the question BB bhai has sarcastically tried to raise has very very important value..

after all, money talks.
and a million dollar?? it not only does talk..but gives flyin speeches...

with the evil hand of gambling industry reaching far beyond our wild imaginations...i wont be surprised if the players, esp Bashar, Mashrafee are "approached" by certain individuals at some point... we talking hundreds of millions of dollars at stake here...

but after looking at those pics, and looking each player in thier eyes.. and asking myself the question...

i can boldly say that our players are not gonna do that...
we are not that low.[edit]

I don't say there will be no opportunity for our players to sell themselves. But honestly hope and believe that they are more keen on getting the respect and love rather than money. Why?? The money that is required for a 1st class life style, they are earning already.

Moreover, remember the current caretaker government. They are good enough to discover all your black money even it's in swiss bank

This is something that I didn't expect from babu bhai.

Questioning integrity of Tigers at this very moment?

Anyway, boys are their to make the country proud. The will do their best.

Dav is there to handle any situation which might derail boys. Bangladesh is in safe hands.
