Arrow FTP (From the Pavilion) Friendlies MATCH THREAD.

Thread specially created for all friendly matches in the world of From The Pavilion. This is for members who are somewhat still active in the game to follow their organized friendlies and post in here.

Looking for some new members who might be interested in the game....

This Sunday, My team Halogens will take on SportingBd's Sporting Bengals team for a friendly match. There is a strong rivalry between the two teams.

************
The main FTP thread has too many posts in it, sometimes it's takes a long time to load after clicking on it. I hope I didn't break any forum rules by starting this thread .

In 6 One-day friendlies played between Sporting Bengals and Halogens, the latter have only recorded two wins.

Will they manage to make it another win on Sunday?
Tune in to find out.

Previews and other info will soon be posted.;

Your sure this is correct bro?

We're in season 33 and we've already played 3 matches. I checked it and in total we've played only 6 matches across the seasons

Yes. based on the results from pavilion:
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/teamf...tm?teamId=3086

we played three youth matches in season 33.
Played only one youth match in season 32.
And 4 Youth matches in season 30.

All data relate to youth friendly matches. Do correct, if mistaken.

Oh shoots, You're correct. I was thinking that the table was Senior. I over-looked that it was youth friendlies.

Apologies

Nope. Its good that you pointed out.

I realised that I mistakenly put 3 matches between Youth Team... its actually two.

Both of which Halogens have won in season 33.

Updated the table.

As it stands, our youth rivalry is very close. Current score is 4-3.

In friendly matches, Halogens' Callum Donaghy has the most centuries, with five from 64 matches played. Also, he's the leading run-scorer with 2420 runs at an average of 42.46.

Hope he gets to form again in tomorrow's match.

Matheson has called tails correctly and has decided to bat. Sporting Bengal will start their innings shortly.
The weather for the match is expected to be Windy and the groundsmen have prepared a Green pitch. Conditions look like they will produce an even contest between bat and ball.

Budden to Nolan : [catch] A lofted drive goes straight into the hands of mid-off. Pathan takes the catch comfortably and that's the end for Nolan. He is quite unhappy with himself.

Flynn to Mahlangu : [catch] Short and wide outside the off stump, Mahlangu shuffles across and flashes hard at it. The ball clips the edge and goes straight to Rinaldi behind the stumps.

I think if my team can cross 260+ we have a chance.

On a green wicket with wind around.. not going to be easy..

I would want 300+ though, but a very bad start.. to be honest.

Gotta try and get rid of Mahmoud now. Someone needs to deliver a magic ball.

Yes, the wind is not helpful for the fast bowlers.
