Do you think Care Taker Government is acting neutrally to hold a free and fair election?
Current Care taker government is struggling to keep both BNP and AL happy. AL already accused CT government and started their destructive blockade program again. The Care Taker government's character is a bit different compared to previous one's due to nomination from political parties.
Do you think despite some limitations CT government is acting neutrally to hold a free and fair election?
Your views.. and yet another poll

According to BDNews, CT government have decided to deploy Army under local magistracy.
Advisors are not apparently aware of the deployment. BDNews reports.

You cant blame govt for deploying army.
I hear today AL tried their best to "paralyse the country", in the words of the eminent Abdul Jalil. Ports, roads and highways were blocked so that the country could come to the verge of collapse............
The activists of Awami League led 14-Party combine set fire to a compartment of a passenger train at Tongi railway station today morning during their nonstop blockade programme.Police sources said the 14-Party activists attacked the Dinajpur-bound Ekota Express train at about 10 am soon after it arrived at the station.
The attackers ransacked valuables of several compartments of the train and at one stage they set fire to one of the compartments.

Government denied TV channels report on Army deployment. These TV channels and media are sometimes overenthusiastic in reporting and bringing mre chaos.

In some other froum There is questionaire on how neutral are you ?. I could not remember all. But here are some.
1. which district are you from a. Gopalganj b. other
2. which is your favourite a. Boat b. Sheaf of Rice
3. who is better a. Zainal Hazari b. VP Zainal
4. who is criminal a. Tareq Rahaman b. Zainal Hazari
5. Who is better journalist a. Gaffer Chy b. Shafiq Rehman
The more you answer a the more neutral you are.
Now judge this criteria on each and every advisor to find out their neutrality

Words like "Government" "Neutral" and "free and fair election" SHOULD NOT be used in one sentences when trying to discuss about BD political scene.
It just gets too much to take in one go.

As Sydney said, it is too much to discuss netrality and free and fair poll in BD politics.
If "feresta" conducts the election, Hasina (if they lose) will say "odrisho soktir sukkho karchupi".
IMO, president could distribute some major responsibilities among the advisers. He kept all "Neutral" "free and fair election" related activites under his belt.

Every chief advisor in the past kept these ministries under their belt in addition to information ministry. This time Iazuddin Ahmed gave information ministry to one of the advisors. We forget the past so easily and blame current president and CA.

Its not blame dear. I don't want to bring history in every argument like our politicians. What I wanted to point out is that our president cum chief adviser is not capable enough to cope with such a huge task. He is not bold enough to stick out with his own decession. In few cases, he changed his own decession before implemented without any reason. For example, power secretary was transferred to IMED, however he backed to power ministry before he joined IMED. We all know that power sector is one of the most corrupted sector during the last couple of years. Therefore, he should be firm on his decession otherwise peoples will get confused. You may argue power sector is not involved in the election process. If so, why he did feel to transfer him. To control such a volatile political situation, he should be bold and clear in his every decession. yesterday he made another confusion about army deployment. In the Daiy Star, you can find the currcular for army deployment.
Its not to blame or underestimate someone, its purely my personal judgement after watching his activites for two weeks.

So, do you think, it would have been nutral if it had been selected 'according to the very ploy of BAL'?
Its not the selection, its about the activity.

Neutrality of Mahbub Alam. Editor of Independant owned by Mama. I mean Salman Rahman, Left hand of Hasina. Hence can't be nuetral. I am waiting when BNP will protest to this appointment and take it to the street with a new "dofa". Then and only they Army will be deployed. One can not satisfy everybody.
I am dead against Hartal, or any activity that stops the growth of the nation. Be it gherao kormoshuchi, or bhang chur of public property. Be it AL, BNP, Zamaat, Jatiyo Party or whoever. Therefore, I myself am biased towards law-enforcement. Dr. Yunus koi?

I don't get the 14 Dol. They want to get rid of the Rastropoti and Election Commisioner. After they acieved thier 11 points, who would they get in the Caretaker government. They coudn't even agree of who should run the caretaker goverment. They say they want fair elections. If it was a AL up for the role, then obviously they'll be happy, don't you think. Iajuddin Ahmed isn't even a BNP/AL any, so why are they complaining. Awami League are just making Bangladesh look silly with thier political issues.
