A reason why our cricket has not taken off is the poor domestic setup. PCB has done exactly what we should have adopted a long time ago-but of course we have not because of lack of vision and conflicting interests of directors/organizers.

Instead of NCL, BCL, BPL, DPL, we should have one setup of teams-so that there is sense of ownership and continuity. That way domestic cricket will be more competitive. This will also allow decentralization. Of course this is a pipe dream and will never happen.

BCB is owned by Dhaka clubs, mainly Abahani at this point. They created NCL to meet ICC requirement as a full member, but they never really had any serious commitment to it.

They certainly will not move away from BPL either, as BPL teams give lucrative jobs to BCB bosses, often for doing nothing.

For whatever reason Pakistan always played well with Misbah as the captain. Probably has a great deal of influence in the dressing room, level headed person, good tactician. This move might work out well for them.

Kamal and then Papon have ruined our cricket completely. Both of them have clear conflict of interest. Kamal in BPL and Papon both in BPL and Dhaka premier league.
