I feel quite dejected when I see Shaiful's name . I cant understand his inclusion in even the A side.

So Taskin and Shafiul ahead of Shuvashish. And Shafiul taken off for an offspinner in the 6th over. No point investing time following this.

Its like someone was half asleep when making the final team list and put Shafiul's name by mistake and wanted to put Shubasish

Fizz bowling in the high-ish 130s. Good to see.

This is the 8th over of the first day of a Test match in South Africa with no visible signs of turn yet. Why is Mehedi bowling at this stage?

Fun fact, Markram's name is a palindrome, spell it backwards, it's the same name.

Taskin and Shafiul are just poor bowlers. They cant even bowl line and length. And Shafiul doesnt seem like a heavy duty bowler is expected to bowl many overs either. This is sheer stupidity taking him especially when we have better bowlers out there

Mehedy is a bowler who relies too much on the pitch to help him. He reminds me of Venkatapathy Raju. I can understand Mushfiq bringing him in as Shafiul is utter garbage.

isnt this a batting wicket? why are we bowling first?, typical mushfik mentality..giving SA ample opportunity to score big and try to salvage a draw

I am not sure if its such a bad decision either as it says its over cast and our batsman would not have lasted long.

The bad decision was taking Shafiul and then playing Mehedy so early in such conditions

big mistake deciding to bowl first on this batting paradise. typical escapist strategy set by mushfiq. Shafiul seems to be a medium pacer with no swing at all. Bowls 129-130 straight balls. Don't understand how he could be better than Subhasish who seems to be the second best option after Fizz.

Who said it was Mushfiq's decision to bowl first?

You do know we have a dictatorial coach who habitually makes idiotic decisions. This looks like a typical Hathu decision.

I wish instead of Shakib, Shafiul should have taken a sabbatical from playing Tests. He clearly is tired of playing so much cricket, that his small body cant take it

I thought Walsh wasnt much effective either. Also from a Management perspective he is being paid so much of money and we are getting poor results, we should have stuck with Heath Streak.

I still cant understand why Atahar so proudly boasts and reminds everyone Walsh is our coach.
