After being utterly horrified by the bowling of my youth club (on a green pitch), I took immediate action and sign reinforcements.
Marcus Phelan

He is the brother of my number 2 bowler, and is only 19 with reasonable bowling/ reasonable tech.

ANYWAYS: If you missed it, im selling two players

Alex Madders <<<< MY best batsman (kind of regret putting him on transfer now, but i do have ppl i want to promote)
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/playe...playerId=72060

Amarupam Kusagra <<<<< some youth, hes OK, ordinary batting.

Akib, your Phelan Brother combo might turn out to be a treat to play for! Marcus Phelan will bowl 1st and 4th spell(new ball bowler talent)

Excluding my batsman on transfer wire

Vernon: capable batsman
Randilgama: reasonable batsman, average finger spin
Lukemon: average batsman
Gentle: reasonable batsman
Read: reasonable batsman
Nitschke: average batsman, average bowler, reasonable keeper <- a true allrounder
Areef: average batsman
Stokes: average fast medium
Phelan: reasonable medium pace
Khan: capable medium pace
Lambert: reasonable medium pace

My reserves range from reasonable batsman to some average bowlers. My bowlers are really lacking in technique, thats why the overall is low, their bowling skill's are capable or reasonable.

I won't be satisfied with anything less than 300. Hopefully I can get around 350. Akib, is your batting strong?

Well I've scored 400+ once, but it was against crappy teams. Id say its moderate. I'm playing an extra batsman in this match too (thank god).

Plus, you should get minimum 300 in this. Your going 6+ per over...

EDIT:

"M. Nawab, P. Randiligama, A. Sincock are tired."

Thank god....

Lambert to Nawab : Like an unfaithful spouse, Nawab has been sent packing, and Lambert is now telling him in no uncertain terms not to come back!
M. Nawab b. G. Lambert 74 (75b 5x4 0x6) SR:98.67

Finally! But the damage is done.

Yep, got him right before drinks

EDIT: More progress

Lambert to Paul : Good ball tossed up outside the off stump. Paul plays forward and the ball takes the edge to Madders at first slip who takes the catch low to his right. That was a good catch.
A. Paul c A. Madders b. G. Lambert 93 (86b 4x4 2x6) SR:108.14

Well Rommel, you got 339/5. I'll be asleep for my teams batting, we'll see what happens.

It'll probably be Madders last match for me, before he joins your team. Hope he goes out with a bang.
