In Asia Cup Nazimuddin opened our innings but he did nothing in that tournamement where Imrul was far better than him.

Junaid starts in the T20 squad, but none of those other guys should feature in any limited overs squad.

Kayes may be considered in Tests, but Nazimuddin probably has a leg up on him, and of course there is Anamul.

Not sure if Anamul should play T20 yet.
Sorry but i have to disagree with you.

I like a batsmen who rotates strike and goes a bit slowly even if Tamim is scoring quickly. We dont have to expect a player like Kayes to go off to a flier if Tamim is hitting back to back boundaries. I dont want Imrul or Junaed to start blinding slogging in the first over just to 'get off to a flier' because they arent that type of batsmen and they will get out which will be unnecessary and we dont need that.

Runs are important for Bangladesh rather then strike rates. The top 3 batsmen need to start laying a foundation for players such as Mushfiq, Shakib, Nasir, Mahmudullah. The middle order is our strength IMO. They have the skills/courage to get the runs on the board or to chase the runs down.

Tamim's opening partner should play at their own pace because we dont want them to do something stupid and fall to a rash shot.

At the end of the day if Imrul/Junaed/Anamul/Nazim makes 36 runs of about 44-48 balls then i am more then happy because runs are more important. Tamim will score at about run a ball no doubt.

Imrul should still get his fair share.

Imrul Kayes is a classy player when on song. Its just a matter of building his confidence. I think he has good shot selections and maybe needs to work on his temperament more. He does have a glorious cover drive.

Hes not consistent. Thats all. But he has showed it in this FC match.

LOL, you gotta play with what you got though. Unfortunately, Imrul does seem to be the best option atm.

It's a travesty that Imrul did not get a single game in the Asia Cup. At the very least he should've played in the final after Nazim's repeated failures. It might have been the difference between a win and a loss. It had to be Imrul partnering Tamim right from the start, he was one of the highest run-scorers in the DPL, he had just scored a match-winning century against the Eng Lions and yet Nazim was picked ahead of him every match, just because he got a 50 in the Test series against Pakistan.

He did not play a single FC match for Rajshahi this season.
Mushy opted out of this match as he's sitting for his Masters exam. As MoC said, it would've been his first FC match for Rajshahi this season. Look out for him to lead the side in the final.

as ATMR bhai said we have to try with whatever we have.
For ODIs KAedge is definitely the 2nd best option after TI.

No Imrul for Tests please. For ODIs I would go with Anamul Haque as the 2nd opener, but if he fails then I would go with Imrul as my backup.

Let's watch final there is a competition going on between Anamul and Imrul.

Between Rajshahi and Khulna, second one is stronger than first but Rajshahi did very good the latest match. Rajshahi is defending champion. They will try to keep their title. So hope a very good final.

Rajshahi boys take a lot of pride in their first class achievements over the years. They deserve to enjoy like that. Beside they get another chance to play in SBNCS, Mirpur. You never know this match may get televised.

FC league is supremely important for BD as a test playing nation. People should see it as valuable. We must try to foster this event and help change the mindset.
