Default Match Thread: Bangladesh tour of Pakistan at Lahore | 3rd T20I, 27/1/2020 | 09:00 AM GMT

Moving onto the 3rd and final match of the series. Bangladesh trailing by 2-0 with only pride to play for left. It's still a chance to win a first ever T20I in Pakistan against Pakistan.

Bangladesh need to fire with the bat, fire in all three departments particularly the batting has been a let done.

What would your team playing XI be and why?
What should be the tactics and approach knowing already lost the series?

Discuss..

Bismillah.

Here is my side for the last T20.
Tamim
Liton
Shanto
Sarkar
Mithun
Mahmudullah
Mahedi
Mahmud Hasan
Aminul
Rubel
Al Amin

I was going to go for another batsman but Afif hasnt convinced me nor is his offies any handy against Paks many right handers who play spin well. There's Mahedi there as offie, dont need another one. Shanto can bowl over or two, is a capable bowler. Sarkar can chip in in the middle overs. I still went for 4 bowlers and Mahedi being the bowling/Batting? Allrounder. Right balance to choose from in bowling, plenty of options.
Batting wise if the top 7 can't do then forget about it. It's T20c you should be reliant only on top 6 really to do the bulk and finish the innings, but since it's BD we'll go 7. Seven is enough to last in a 20overs match and get decent total. IMO. I believe T20 should be 7-4 minimum, with a ALR but actually it's 6-5, ALR's makes big difference giving you options with the ball and bat.

Clearly the other guys will play.
So Rubel and Shanto in for Musta and Afif.
I don't think this is the format for Afif or Mithun.

Don't try derailing the thread. You typical geezer. Why didn't you even bother to open any one of them? But very quick to criticise others like a typical bangali. Stop begging for attention.

Don't know where they gone. Very inactive. Should make you a mod, You seem fair. I'd vote for you if someone you can change the laws a bit, instead of perm ban bring to 1month. Let people talk hard, as long as it's not abusive, racial, personal and proper trolling then it should be fine. Otherwise it's boring, people will not come.

This guy Liton has avg less than 25 across all three formats with total 91 innings. Why are we still persisting with him? How many innings does he need just to get his average above 25?

Can we still salvage this series and take it? What's the required NRR needed?

Whereas Pakistanis THRIVE on seeing the stumps get blown to smithereens and shatter, we have at best below average mediocre bowling. We think "somehow" wicket will appear.

This is where I miss Rubel's "ball maira urayia dimu" bhaaabhshaab looks and mood. I mean look at him.

I thought somewhere he said in media he is feeling matured after marriage. Probably time for another one.

Ahh those wickets and celebrations of two Ws and Rawalpindi express were treat to watch..just wonder how they can so focus on middle stick despite vicious swings and speed where our ones have can not focus on middle one only aim for legs. Are the orange juice and banana fresher on that side of the word?

Did you guys notice how Tamim is trying to cover the stumps and play everything on his leg ? eventhough he is so good in both sides, he seems too scared to get bowled or edge to the keeper or something ?

Soumya injured, I guess Shanto is coming in his place.

AA will be benched, even though he did ok in last two matches. I hope Fizz is the other pacer to be benched?

Do you think injury only occurs during a game and not off field ...
