Made in Bangladesh
A Chittagong-based garment factory named KEPZ made the WC 2018 official jackets for ARG, GER, SPA, BEL, COL, MEX and RUS under the brand Adidas.
If not football, then our garments industry never stopped progressing...

New Trend: Putin conspired to Mo Salah's injury at UCL final so that Russia qualifies easily from Group A in WC 2019. #FunnyTweet

Without salah Egypt is nothing. He is gonna be out for 3 to 4 weeks apparently.. which means may miss first 2 games.
With him on and 100% i see egypt progressing from that group.

BC Mods/admins should arrange a WC Fantasy League!
Give the winner custom title?
This kind of initiative can keep everyone engaged.

Arg may go to Qtr Final and thats about it. Wont go further than that I think. Brazil will be eliminated in Semi. It might be a France/Germany/Spain Final

Canada, Mexico and USA combined will host the 2026 Football WC. They just outbid Morocco this morning at FIFA Congress vote.

don't know how to feel about this.
negatives:
1. u don't get to see a new country
2. atmosphere will not be as festive as usa is just too big
3. Tix will be impossible to get
positive:
Cost will be relatively lower

I just felt bad for Morocco as it was simply competing against almost a whole continent. Anyhoo, I finally can expect to watch a WC game live in Toronto stadium or smth. I wish Canada could host more than 10 games.
Moreover, Canada will get to play as a host nation. That's new. Hopefully, it will push this hockey-crazy nation to go forward with football.

Losing the bid was the best thing to happen to the people of Morocco. The amount of money they would have spent is nonsensical. Best thing about United bit is that all 3 countries already have facilities ready.
The only thing I don't like about this bid is that Canada has no business being in the world cup.

Almost any country would suffer from financial losses by hosting WC as FIFA takes away most of the earnings. Do you think that Morocco wasn't aware of it? Did FIFA push them to bid?
Re: Canada, no they don't have the facility to host WC. Yes, they can co-host few matches. And they aren't as bad as Bangladesh or smth in FIFA ranking neither as good as USA. However, soccer (not basketball, not hockey or baseball) is the most played sports in Canada. Every kid in school play soccer. Hence, I said, it's good thing for Canada.

So 60 games for US, and 10 each for Mexico and Canada.
But that's the WC when there will be 48 teams.
Hope to see those new teams...
I'm actually getting interested here

I knew. I do hope and sure that he read your comments.
I don't even like the US team even if they would have make it here.
I'm a perennial Brazil guy, because we share a border with them.
But I love the way Iceland got in.
