this is hilarious...i'm actually laughing

lol at riyad and esp mushy going for glamour/style over securing the win.

not sure how much of this was choking or wilting under pressure. they committed seppuku via extremely poor shot selections. it was some odd mix of complacency and choking.

but that was a very cruel loss ,

No way this was a choke. People really abuse that word.

Mushy gets some blame for his dismissal but he played beautifully till then. Perfect t20 batting, going deep in the crease to the attempted yorkers.

M'dullah had a really hard decision to make. If he took a single, then Hom would be under a lot of pressure. Got a full toss, went for it. No problem with that.

Shame on us...we are turning out to be bigger chokers than SA......so frustrated right now.... very poor from Riyad and Mushfiq.... I never expected that they'd struggle to take 2 singles form 3 balls

Dear BD players, when you need to score just 2 runs from 3 balls, even in street cricket we just touch the ball and run. Who asked you to attempt a six in such a situation?

Pathetic batting...........

Bangladesh played brilliantly today, specially the bowling and field placement during India's innings. Although you lost wickets regularly, you were still at the game till the end and then you could not score 2 from 3 balls.
Unbelievable.

Freaky loss.. as much as india wanted to give you guys the game.. to put it as subtly ... brain f**t ..

dhoni kept his cool, removed his gloves and ran up .. but what the heck was Riyad thinking ? everyone else did their job.. soooooooooo close.

Really feel sorry for you guys, this would have been a big soother for BD after Taskin fiasco ..

If it was better they would have won

IND handled pressure well and Pandya/Dhoni did the job

Congrats for India. You showed that pressure can be transferred in a matter of a few deliveries. This was a win that was not there. Bangladesh succumbed to the pressure. Complacency was everywhere.

Bangladesh never was there. They needed a batsman to bat for the entirety of the inning. This takes a lot of regrouping

Choke
An act in which a team or a person collaspe when they are expected to win no matter what the other team does.
Sorry man but this was textbook choking.

Cant blame your bowlers, cant even blame your batsmen really, all you can blame is a complete mental breakdown by Mushy and Mahmudullah when all they had to do was get 2 runs off 3 full tosses.

Sorry BD fans, cruel cruel loss, but what a performance. Also last over was heart stopping, literally, 2 fours and 3 wickets. Very unlucky BD team, but this lost also cements BD team as a major team, welcome to the big league stage.

great game played today.. this is the best game of this World Cup.. we had our hearts out.. well played Bangladesh.. everything was superb.. we thought game over after those 2 fours in the final over. as i am typing, my ears are going numb due to fireworks which shows the intensity of this game..

special sorry to sarker for giving him a thumbs down the other day. That Bumrah catch was the turning point of the match.

this also shuts mouth of many for you.

It's hard to take right now, but we showed a lot of fight today. This is what was missing in the last game. We were on top all throughout and bottled it in the final two deliveries. These things happen in sports. But the effort was there. The fight was there. Just made two bad decisions at the end.

Also, how does Mustafiz not dive in that situation? That would've made it a tie game.

Heart breaking stuff!
Oh man why are we always at the receiving end? This win could have given so much...the much needed moral boost, a big win!

We don't deserve it.

Mushy and Riyadh has some answering to do. Their acts were very questionable!

We committed harakiri in the end, but there definitely was more good than bad in this game. It was advantage Bangladesh till the last 3 balls.

It's still a learning process in this format. We'll do a better job of closing games in the future.

Really hard to take what I've seen, will be harder for the boys. Even though this will hurt a lot, this loss will make them stronger and hopefully wiser

There will be many more battles to come. Congrats to India for their nerves, something we can learn from. Best match of the WC so far for us

Keep playing more T20s. Keep running the BPL. A year from now, we'll win matches like the ones vs Aus and India.

We definitely made big progress in this format. Before AC and this WC (bar the Pak game), we never played well in this format.
