Sriram came to fame for helping Aussie spinners, as well as helping Aussie batters to play spin better. He's known for making fast experiments with players, not for going steady. BCB hired him for that exact reason.

Unfortunately, that won't happen. One of the younger pacers will have to take the chop. Most likely, they will keep Shorif to cover for Musta, letting Saif go (unless Saif does something extraordinary today).

this is some top level f**kery from BD. Liton is arguably your best batsmen atm and they are shuffling him around from opening to 3 to 4 to 3 to opening. What is this nonsense ...

Trash man all these players are straight trash. Can't even play a part timer like Bracewell.

Even with 9 batsmen, max these guys can do is 160, that too on a tiny field.

Sriram pretty much tried everything, there’s no magic combination left to be tried. Perhaps Miraz, Taskin, Hasan back in places of Mosaddek, Saifuddin, Ebadot. This is pretty much the best we got.

Trying to find the best XI from a core group of trash players certainly is not easy.

If it's a sporting pitch of 160-180 runs we score 130-150 on it..if it a flat track where 200 is par we score 180..only place we can walk with the opposite team is if the pitch is low spiny where 120 is par..in that pitch opposition's six hitting capability is compromised and our dot ball percentage don't hurt that much

Today's batting lineup was nearly perfect (for our standard LOL).

Get rid of Santo, put Sharkar to open. If anything, he will be the one who can do more damage than the rest of the nonsense. And for fu#k's sake, bring Riad back for the stop gap atleast till the world Cup is over. Clearly players like Fatboy Yasir Ali isn't ready. Fatboy needs to diet and hit the gym first. Also, miraz hasn't done that bad to deserve a drop. He performed relatively well with the chances that were given to him. He should find a place in the team, not as an opener though

Lol, think we need to introduce penalties if you are out there opening and waste PP overs with a sr less than 110 and then being dismissed.

Seems like every opener we send is content with batting with ODI-ish sr (send them to open during an ODI and watch that sr drop down to 60-70)

Following was my proposed XI after match 1. Given the set of players we have, it's not really rocket science which eleven to go with (maybe you can go with Hasan instead of Ebadot, but that's about it). Given this is WC prep, it would have bee understandable to try a bench player here and there. But number of changes Sriram has been making each match, wild experiments he has been making with the batting order, unfortunately has badly derailed our WC prep. Hope Shakib can still help restore some stability in the team.

My XI would be:

Litton
Soumya
Shakib
Afif
Yasir
Mosaddek
Sohan
Miraz
Taskin
Ebadot
Shoriful

Musadek is another player who hasn't done jack besides one knock against SRL. Yesterday after playing 8 balls he couldn't hit one boundary in a tiny field.

Even Mohammad Naim would have been so much better choice than Shanto...

F'ing Shanto. How many more chances is this useless guy going to get. Playing a test match in a T20 match, not even ok in ODI standard

First World Cup match 10 days away, why Litton risking his injury for a dead rubber match?! Want to celebrate his birthday with a big score?

Seriously, I was thinking the same. He should go back and rest his legs. His place is not up for grabs anyways. We desperately need him in the WC
