Shamim and the Afghan commie now on. This should be interesting.

I like how the Afghan commie calls Shamim “Bhai”.

I have a few colleagues who address me as Bhai even in meetings. This is one of the richness of our culture

Grameen stil makes the best and tasteful ad.

Shakib playing a bar tender while wearing outrageously colourful shirts like Ranveer looking like a parrot is ok.

This Bkash ad with a boxer looks wicked. Is the boxer an upcoming athlete ?

There is the usual recycled Indian ads which are always pathetic

Looked it up I think the boxer is Sura Krishna Chakma the first professional boxer from Bangladesh.

Really good to see the indigenous people getting some media exposure. In the past 10 years I have noticed alot of store staff in Dhaka a good number of people from such ethnic groups increase.

I used to go this vegetarian canteen run by Chakmas in Aziz Super market and the food was quite decent too. Used to look clean and well maintained.

In my A levels had a Chakma friend who was from a Bomang tribe. Was great to hear the traditions and culture they had.

The sarcastic comments that Shamim and Afghan commie that they throw at each other is quite funny.
Instead of the matches I wish we make a UFC octagon and let these two fight it out, I would have paid to see that

Would surely be more exciting; Drop the mic too will work and give Shamim a fighting chance (mind the pun).

Shamcha will probably use the common/phrases: daal bhaat, cow corner, delectable, clicks and his lost forgotten elder statesman.

Shakib was timing the ball really sweetly in this innings, but I think he is struggling with his fitness. The last shot seemed to be out of tiredness and/or lapse of concentration.

We are doomed with Naim in the team. Hope Tamim comes back for the Asia cup but we also need a plan B. I strongly feel Riyad should be brought back, let Santo and Liton open, then Shakib, Tawhid, Mushfiq, Riyad, Miraz and the bowlers.

Well played Bangladesh, although quite late in the party.

First ODI: They ate 'vevachaka' and then the 'bhija' outfield helped them to lose the match
Second ODI: Tamim vai did a 'churmar' to the players mentality and they forgot how to bat or bowl

The changes in selection were good apart from Taijul.

Shanto has gone back to his bolod brain fart days
Miraz has gone back to his confused bowling short and wide days
Naim is garbage. No feet movement. Got out the same way
Shakib's age is showing when he comes out to bat after being on the field for 50 overs

Naim looked completely at sea. Very worrying.

His batting looked confident and he was middling the ball well for the most part today. But as you say, he looked pretty tired quite early on. Only a short while to go to the Asia Cup and the World Cup....Looking to the future, I wonder if Shakib is going to retire from one or more formats so as to prolong his career. I suspect he will play T20(I)s and T10s for a fair few more years.

He has to eventually retire but I think it will have to be from ODI and has to be right after the World Cup. Even with his fitness level he can outplay the other younger hacks out there.

Ofcourse finding another good all rounder is difficult , but perhaps a decent batsman and spinner will make up for the loss when he retires

If Taijul knew how to bat little bit, it would solve no.7 problems. At this point, he really wont do much worse than village gangsta Afif and Shommanojoynak Porajoy Riyad.

So basically we play Miraz in at No.7 and Taijul in at No.8.

Well done, team! Hope our team can learn from the mistakes and continue to repeat the positives from these games.
