I dont know about you guys, but I think this is a prize wicket. Ramps is legend in county circuit and our boy shak got him second ball.
Please Mohammad bhai share the highlight link here.
I would love to see that too.

Congrats Shakib on his great bowling performance. But the concern is about his batting. Looks like he is getting the start but he has to carry the innings.

Congratulations Shakib! You are the saviour for Worcs. Had you played for them from the beginning things could have been so much better for Worcs.

Exactly that's why I m not that happy with his bowling feats, as I already know he is a good bowler. But the thing I m worried about the most is, he seems to have forgotten that he is an allrounder and has the responsibility to bat well as a number 5 batsman both for Bangladesh and his county team. Lately he seems to have given up on even improving his batting because he just goes out there and slogs. County is a good opportunity for him to improve his technique but he doesnt even want to spend time at the crease. People are overlooking his batting performances. I m a very big fan of Shaqib but he seems to have forgotten the fact that he isnt just another bowler.

I do understand that he is enjoying his bowling but improving in things that you are already good at and neglecting the thing in which you arent as confident, isnt really a smart thing to do. If that's the case,he should bat lower down the order, and give up his number 5 spot

Well done Shakib! I genuinely felt he would take 6 wickets in the 2nd innings and he actually did it! I feel the Glamorgan game will cost them promotion, had they beaten Glamorgan they would have a wonderful chance of promotion, but it's too much too late I reckon.

It's a shame that WCCC won't get promoted, as Shakib could've done with the experience of playing in division 1, where he would've faired against quality teams like durham, notts, yorkshire and of course the mighty lancashire.

He's certainly proved he's capable of bowling against division 2 teams, it would of been a great test of character to see how he would fair against division 1 teams.

Having seen Hamilton-Brown and Davies hit his bowlers to all parts, Mitchell admitted he was ready to make a change to his attack before the wickets started to tumble.
“I was just about to take Mase off,” Mitchell said.
“I thought maybe Gareth Andrew, with a little bit of extra pace, might make them hit one up in the air and it would make it more difficult to play some of the shots they were playing.
“I was always going to leave Shakib on, even though Rory hit him for a couple of sixes. He looked dangerous and was turning the ball.
“I always thought it was only a matter of time before he was going to get a wicket.”

Good to hear the new captain had faith on Shakib's bowling

Nice wkt haul for Sakib. I think he will do well with bat very soon. He is hitting the ball well, scoring 30's with apparent ease, but getting out. That will stop soon.

Why search for it when you can set it up for any news you want. You just check that page when you are on the net and if the news is on any internet media it will show. (For my case last 2 weeks, i have been on the net too much because of hand injury preventing me from work)

Greth Batty was allegedly abused by WCCC fan when he was out this morning. Batty left WCCC last year when he ask to be released from his contract. He has been targetted since day 1 including one on field incident involving Shakib during the game.

Quote:
Posted by WCCC fan in their Forum:He came back to Worcester and some of his behavior on the pitch fell far from that of a professional, he was no better than the barrackers, threatening to "do a Cantona" to them after they jeered him throwing the ball at Shakib in a manner more then partly reminiscent of what Broad did in the last test when shakib was not trying to take a run. After that action he was jeered by some of the crowd, I heard no insults that were discernable. I heard this yesterday, it is not heresay. That, to my mind is not the action of a professional.
The news is the talk of WCCC at the moment. http://www.cricinfo.com/countycricke...ry/473338.html

Now he enters the top 100 MVP playing just 5 county matches. He is number 1 in overall average knocking off Sturad Broad from top of the list.
