What a moronic shot on a turning wicket ball spinning and indifferent bounces. What on earth was that? Made himself look complete amateur there.

Not a single player in the history of the game played well every single innings

But good players sculpt their innings in accordance to the situation of the match.

I agree, but good players should`nt come down like a marauder and a turning wicket and try to hit the ball for six, in a crucial situation.

The brain cells lost at the shot not the player getting out. He sure could've got a good delivery and gone out first ball - that's not the issue. But If anyone justify his moronic shot (using the excuse no player plays well every innings), then they need to see more cricket analysis, listen to good wise cricket experts...

His defensive technique isn't good, he was trying to hit momentum Aus gained back
What do you want him to be, Tendulkar with the bat, he's an all rounder
Only all rounder who could do so was kallis, who was top 3 Greatest players ever and he didn't bowl as much

His defensive technique isn't good enough to just defend, why can't people understand that he has to play with limitations

Any person with aptly functioning brain would know to not hit a spin bowler for 6 in his first 6 balls.

Shakibs die hard fans will find any logics to defend him.
He gifted his wicket. Don't use lame excuse his defence isn't good. He can defend with his technique and he has done it before. He just had a moronic idea to go down to that ball, which was more flighted and slower in the air and knowing pitch is turning. Shot was never on. It's not a flat deck for you to keep coming down. He scored a 4, why need to repeat it again? 4 run is enough, it's a test match on a tricky wicket, not t20 finishing in 3hrs pal.

We shouldn't expect Australia to make the same mistake again in the second innings and throw away their wickets.
It's safe to say that if we can't post a score around 300 on the board
we'll lose the game especially if take our toothless bowling attack into consideration.

I agree he should not have gone after the second shot, but I disagree with the idea that he had complete free choice of it, look at Sri Lanka game, he tried defending, but he struggled, he struggles second innings because of lack of technique
