Packas are born cheats. Rashid Latif’s dropped catch at Multan. Match fixers, even their Captain. Afridi biting cricket balls.

Ouch, India getting eliminated by a 10 wicket loss two WCs in a row.

Even with the famed line-up, their bowling sometimes regress to their 90s era

I feel like franchise cricket destroyed umpiring, I don't think there is a great cover up or conspiracy.

Umpire match fees for IPL games is around USD $2500 per match, almost similar amounts in PSL.

So as an umpire you'd want to be selected for these big franchise leagues - much like how any player would want to play for such league teams.

If you give a controversial decision against India or Pakistan you risk being crucified by their fans and media, and never getting a contract there to officiate matches.

This is why they tend to be more lenient towards India and Pakistan when making decisions, maybe it's subconscious even.

Here's a reminder how India butchered Steve Bucknor for his decisions that didn't favour India. This is exactly the type of decision that robbed us against both India and Pakistan this World Cup, and we're crybabies if we complain now, but when they do it it's justified.

Well then, two oppressors of B'desh will battle it out for the WC trophy. I can't believe Ind lost by 10 wickets, lol.

This is a hard call. Pakistan on its day can be a total beast. England on the other hand is a beast of a team as we saw vs India. If I were a gambler, I would piss my pants on who to bet for.

Edit: saw your post about being from England. They definitely will not teach you how they oppressed all over the world lol. It's upto individuals to read and be knowledgeable.

But I don't want to derail this thread about politics.

I know in Pakistan, they dont teach the truth of how their politicians and army destructed their own people in East Pakistan.

After the growth of the internet, alot of Pakistanis were shocked and ashamed to realise the truth. Many Paks are still in denial that this is Indian propaganda.

Back to cricket, England will destroy Pakistan. England the team that scored 444, 481 in ODI and now absolutely dominating T20 with Alex Hales and whom not with unhealthy and ungodly strike rate is a fascinating force to be reckoned with. Screw supporting subcontinental teams. I know England used to play textbook boring cricket and everyone was fascinated with India/Pakistan style... but boy oh boy has England turned around.

It all started after Bangladesh knocked England Lions from the World Cup. Hahaha... they took an oath and vow to destroy everyone like Bill Gates.

Team England today... and will have my popcorn ready for another dholai.

I haven't followed any of the Group A matches... but looks like other than the spirited Ireland win against England... England pretty much dominated this tournatment. AS IT SHOULD BE. Bangladesh trying to scramble and huff and puff to reach semis?

Pleaaaz. A champion leaves NO DOUBT into the minds of others as to who they are. Not goddamn bank of Virat Kohli shenanigans for mercy 5 runs or Shakib's unfortunate out... FFS guys.. lol.

The Pakas do well when in a tournament when it’s dramatic like this.

Hope they lose and history doesn’t repeat itself

Pakistan 5 down. Doesn't seem like they're going to get enough runs on the board.

At the World Cup last year, the two semi-finals and final were won by the team chasing. Seems like it'll be the same this year.
