Yeah
Good fight by Bangladesh. At a time like this, I can only think, what 10 more singles would have done for us today! Sigh!

Aha
It is disappointing, but last few weeks are the first time we ever had such a tension ..over who will win the match .. so don’t feel bad .. we came very long way.
Dav is really amazing.

BD played extremely well. But they choked in the last couple of overs - misfielding, wides, etc. Some more early runs would have been the difference. The bowlers did extremely well to keep it this close.
Dav would have been even more magical had he had the common sense of keeping a second opener, this opening issue was a pathetic joke.
If we win the toss in the 5th game, hopefully the boys will now know what to do.
Er, did Sami make such a difference? And thank God for Junaid Zia and his Dad, although he will likely be replaced by the more compelling Shoiab in the last match

Batting was below par again!
Our ODI batting just has to improve. Our batsmen still don't seem to know how exactly to go about building an ODI innings. When a veteran like Sumon doesn't know to take singles, why blame anyone else. Its just the basics that we have to get right, like keeping the scoreboard ticking. I mean, how can we play out a maiden over in the 32nd over off someone like Malik? Could they really not nudge three singles off that over? I think Whatmore really has to address the singles issue.
Also, the reason Pakistan won the 3rd Test and today's ODI is because one of the top order saw it through. We still don't have someone who can finish a job. No one who can see an innings through. It can be different people at different times, but someone will have to put his hand up in each game and see the innings through!

48.4 Mashrafe Mortaza to Abdul Razzaq, two runs, driven to long off,
Sarkar unable to pick it up cleanly, Youhana back for the 2nd,
Mashrafe whips the bails, tv called
well in
48.5 Mashrafe Mortaza to Abdul Razzaq, two runs, driven over the
bowler's head, not very hard, good running between the wicket
48.6 Mashrafe Mortaza to Abdul Razzaq, two runs, fulltoss, driven to
long off, Rajin Saleh again fumbles and allows Youhana to come
back for the 2nd
49.1 Tapash Baisya to Yousuf Youhana, two runs, very high fulltoss,
driven to point, again misfileded by Rajin, 2 runs taken
49.2 Tapash Baisya to Yousuf Youhana, two runs, on the off stump, driven
to deep mid off, good running again
At least 3 misfields in 5 balls made the difference. Rajin did it twice in 2 balls.

And Rajin is usually a dynamite of a fielder
The pressure got to our team in the end, but I think we were 15 runs below par to begin with. The bowlers should tremendous fight, as they usually do, only if our batsmen could give them a defendable target for once!

Getting there!
Every match in this series, we have closed the gap between the two teams. Going by that logic, we ought to win the next game. We can always hope, but for the first time ever, I am starting to feel that we are not too far away from competing with the top sides on a regular basis.

sami did make a clear difference in the first ten overs when they conceded just 26 runs. its puttar jee who spoilt all the good work at the end.
shoaib will replace junaid zia in the final game which should be our best bowling line up in the series.

our opening pair are too weak to play against SA. theyve caused this trouble in all the games.
this is the one thing pakistan is lacking at the moment. two top class openers would put us back with the top teams.

We'll give you Hannan if you clone Zia and replace Sami with the clone and have Zia and Zia2 open the attack. There's a quick ten bucks for you if you can make it happen.

muddasser....
pak opening pair is very weak.
and players like hafiz and hameed will feel the heat when they face Ntini and Pollock.
Man.....they are going to roll the paki team.
senior batsman like inji, youhana and younis khan should do something otherwise i dont know what will happen to the rest of the team.

I wouldn\'t give away Saleh for anyone!
This guy is gonna be the mainstay of our batting! We need that more than we need a champion bowler right now.

Let's settle this once and for all. We'll give away our most respectable player, sujon and all you have to do is give us Youhana.

congratulations to tushar, 33 isnt that many but in the circumstances it was excellent. I hope he finds a home at no.6. We are in desperate need of another opener. Bidyut would be handy to have in the squad. If the pick Habibul to do it again we have a problem at 4. Sanwar or Ash being the only unconvincing options.
