I think Tamim's decision had a little effect on the 2nd Odi. I hope players are able to handle stresses professionally. After so many years, we're still struggling with the same basic things. Come on Tigers! Be inspired! I want to see some new mistakes, and overcome old ones.

The top order needs to give proper respect to Mujib and Rashid. Right now they are baiting our batsman into playing one too many false shots. We can up the tempo at the 25 over mark once we have a solid foundation. We need new ball wickets and Taskin is the likeliest to do the job. Afif and Naim should not have been brought back. I think we still need Ryad in this line up to build partnerships with Mushy and Shakib.

Agreed with most of what you said. However, I do not think that Riyad is still the answer we are looking for. To me players like Tamim and Riyad are completely outdated in modern Cricket. Even Afghanistan found a way to move way from such players. Look at Gurbaz and compare him to our Slowmim.
Naim and Afif scored bunch of runs in our domestic recently so they are being experimented. However, question is how can they be uterly clueless in international Cricket if they are scoring runs domestically? It just goes to show you that no one in our domestic setup is good enough to even shine the shoe of Mujeeb and Rashid.
Also, they are treating Farooqi as the next coming of Wasim Akram.

They don't really face good quality bowlers in domestic matches so the stats are inflated. Most teams are stacked with left arm spinners. Part time off-spinners bowls too apart from pacers lacking pace or accuracy. The fielding standards in the domestic leagues are also subpar.
Bangladesh haven't produced players who are sought after by international franchises either.
So there are a lot of things going wrong which is reflected in the national side.
Above all, the players themselves have to work on their weaknesses. There shouldn't be any auto-choices in the team.

Everything is wrong with the top order. Poor technique poor game sense. Yes Afghanistan bowling is deadly on this wicket but they made a mess against pacers too

Is Ryad the ideal option? No he isn't but at least we know he can handle international quality bowling. He can bat with the tail or score crucial runs if we are in a crisis. With Afif, he has the shots but he seems to me like another Soumya with no game sense or sense of which shot to play at what situation. With 3 months to go we are running out of time. The only other option we can try is Yasir and he hasn't done much either to cement his place. Perhaps we can look at Shamim, Joy and Akbar from the U19 group. We don't have that many games and we need to find at solution.

Current riad can't win you games, do you guys still want sommanjonok porajoy after 25 years of cricket? I will take osommanjonk porajoy instead. At this stage of our cricket porajoy is the main thing, nobody will see if it's sommanjonok or ossomanjonk

Am not a big/huge fan of Riad but this guy was given #7 role for who knows what reason when he was more of top-order batsman. One does have to think that his numbers would be similar to the other 3 seniors had he batted top of the order instead of slogging order. He did his job at the bottom, should have put him somewhere in the top while getting new players to play his role. We don't have a number 7. No one in the country is capable of doing what Hardik Panday or Stoinis does? Jezz bro, all these millions of people, yet not a single player to produce the finishing touch.

Currently no one can win games. The best scenario unfortunately due to the underachievers is a sommano jonok porajoy.

Yeah Mahmudulla was definitely one of the best batsman BD has produced. Not sure why he was always batting in lower order all these years? He couldve done well in no.3 or no.4 position. I guess that's BD Cricket for you. Shakib AL Hasan, an all-rounder who is better than all the BD batsmen.
For number 7, you need someone like Pandya/Jadeja, Bracewell, Maxwell/Stoinis, or even Shadab Khan does the job well.
You don't depend on no 7 to build innings and win you games. You've pretty much lost the games if it comes down that.

Put Towhid Ridoy at #7 and move Riyad up the order. From what I understand, Ridoy likes to play his shots and can connect. Higher up is too much responsibility for him. He has that Panda mentality.

An innings has many facets, but basically it all boils down to this. A lot of matches end up going to the wire. Take the last leg of a match. Consider the scenario: 19 needed off last over. 8 wickets down. Now #7 is there with a tail ender.
Who do you count as winning the match? Who will be that #7?

We fans also need to chill, in my opinion. We are acting as if we can't lose. Even weeks ago we defeated Afghan by world record margin (granted back then there were timeless tests and this stat doesn't count...)
So when we defeat them by huge margin, they are depleted. But if they beat us, suddenly they are world class?
Imagine if England and ECB acted like us after they lost the T20 series here. We need to have patience. We wouldn't have lost the series if it wasn't for that dumb Tamim debacle.
We shouldn't let go off the war in lieu of winning battles.

Afghan commie has become a bit coocky after the abuse he took from Shamim during the Test.
His statements were like lets see if Afghanistan batsman can add to the misery of Bangladesh or Afghanistan decided to bat and decided to put a put a huge total.
2 wickets already gone! Shamim will start roaring again.
The sarcastic comments that Shamim and Afghan commie that they throw at each other is quite funny.

Sotto morich emon chotto, je he is not long enough to stop wides. I think Liton Das should be the wicket keeper in prep for when Mushfiq retires.

Ebadot injuring himself was a blessing in disguise. Good idea to drop Mustafiz. Not to keen on Taijul's inclusion but given how spinners are getting wickets it might be ok.

Now Shamim is saying adding to the misery of the Afghanistan batsman after the Afghan commie at the start of the innings said Afghanistan batsman will add to the misery of Bangladesh.
I am waiting when those two get together in the comm box again today.
