Here's a prediction: England are a woeful ODI team right now, even with KP and Freddie they're a little above mediocre. When England tour BD in 2010, I think BD will beat them in at least 1 ODI.

I also think they have a very good chance of winning a test. If they can keep up the positive mindset of the Windies/Zim tours and England are as wary of touring BD as they are of touring Pak, I think they can cause an upset...

I think BD should win the ODI series comfortably.

Dont worry Sister Zain there will be lots of cricket in late 2010 (6 to 8 months before WC2011). There will be lots of bilateral tours specially in sub-continent. I can easily see 3 to 4 team touring Bangladesh from october 2010 to prior and leading to WC 2011.

I mean we played Zim already and won convincingly, so playing them again isn't gonna satisfy my thirst. And considering it's a Home tour, I'd expect us to do better than it was in Zim. Sooooo, no interesting cricket until the tri-series or test series against Ind, which is in Jan I guess.

I wonder why the BCB did not press for any practice matches. If I remember rightly, the KKiwis also did not have any practice matches when they visited BD.

Bangladesh will be hosting India and England right before and after the NZ tour, so BCB itself left no time window for practice matches in NZ. Instead of squeezing NZ tour in between hosting two teams, sensible thing for BCB would be to ask NZC to arrange the tour later sometime with two tests and plenty of practice matches. But BCB seldom do sensible things.

It sure does, that's why BCB needed to sit down with NZC and figure out another window of time for this tour. There is no reason BCB should accept a fixture with only one Test and no practice match.

You will get ticket in AB BANK OR CITY BANK 3/4 days before match. Also match day morning you can buy ticket from stadium counter or from blacker. But always better to follow first option, you can avoid lots of hassle.

ECB confirms 2010 summer schedule

The England and Wales Cricket Board have released the match programme for England's series against Bangladesh and Pakistan for the 2010 season. In a break with tradition, the Test series against Pakistan will finish at Lord's rather than the Oval.

England will also play a one-day international against Scotland in June, before a five-match series against Australia.

Australia and Pakistan will contest a Test series against each other in England next summer. The games were initially scheduled to be played in Pakistan until security concerns forced the matches to be moved.

The Rose Bowl will be the venue for the Twenty20 Finals Day on Saturday 14 August while the final round of Championship matches, to be played from 13-16 September, and the new ECB 40-over final at Lord's on Saturday 18 September will provide the climax to the domestic season.
