He's scored 56 off 54 balls. Of that 34 runs have come off 7 deliveries. So off the 47 other balls he has scored 22 runs. That's a ridiculous dotball percentage. What that tells you is that as soon as a bowler adjusts his line and length, he's going to eat up deliveries. We've seen him do that countless times. Then he KaEdges. In Tests he doesn't have this pressure.
Can't really judge like that tbh unless we are watching the game. The bowling could be really on point, maybe there is a lot of pressure with the fielding placements, maybe there is a lot of swing in the air etc. But regardless he is going at over a 100 SR so now he probs looking to play a long innings hence a high dot ball percentage. What do you expect him to do just keep hitting boundaries and get criticised for throwing his wicket away? People talk about rotating strike and yes batsman may struggle to rotate strike such as Sabbir but as long as they are going at a healthy SR its a non issue really. But instead we are still clutching onto unnecessary straws and finding flaws in order to bash the batsman which i guess most people are accustomed to when it comes to critiquing Imrul's batting.

at this rate if Imrul can get to his century before the 27th over he could even aim to score a double century.

Imrul will and should retire after the century.

Guys the wicket in Fatullah might be the reason for this run fest. It has always been conducive to batting. Anyway, Kayes has grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Congrats.

Bangladeshi players are not used to get big "daddy" hundred. Hope KaEdge doesn't get out soon after his 100.

To score 400, only one batsman getting a 100 or even 200 is not enough. I doubt this team has the batting lower down the order to reach that sort of score.
