Inna lillahi wa innaa ilaihi raaji'un

Such heart-wrenching news! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Phillip Hughes!

His departure is just a reminder that all things must pass...sometimes very unexpectedly. Although, death is the only certainty. Phil died as a Shahid and remained as Not Out.

May he rest in peace.

My heart is aching right now. Got a bit emotional. Still can't believe the news. What a shame for him, his family, Australian cricket and the fans. RIP Phil you might be gone but we'll never forget you.

Rip,what more can one say.
There is lot of shock particularly in england where he played for 3 counties.
That said it is being felt overly in the cricketing world.

I don't know what the mods do on this forum. At the very least the title of this thread should have been updated to convey our condolences and it should have been made sticky by now.

This is heartwrenching! Judging by his colleagues' remarks he must've been a very special human being. Very very sad indeed!

A life with so much potential comes to an unexpected end. What a blow to Phil and his family. No parents should out-live their children.....cannot imagine what they are going through right now.
BCB should have a min of silence and black arm-band in today's game.

Players, support-staffs, match officials and fans paying tribute to Phill Hughes during the 4th ODI in Mirpur today. Also, the Tigers have dedicated their win in honour of Phill Hughes and his family!

Are all these bats lined up in terms of batting order?

Don't think so. I am pretty sure the YAS bat belongs to Shakib and the Matrixx (one of them) bat belongs to Mash. So it's not in terms of batting order.

I know it's a bit late but wanted to post these highlights of Phil Hughes. The way he decimated the SA attack at that age just showed what kind of promise he had. Another reminder just how sad his death is
