160+ wicket and BD batting in the first 10 was a disgrace, lethargic, lazy, lack of ideas, lack of clarity, dullness all over, naive shots selections, soft wickets given away, no proper attacking effort. All was left to just be GENTLE and CASUAL. Casual approach is a massive disgrace to T20 format on wicket of 160+.

Congratulations Pakistan outplayed Bangladesh in all three departments.
Bangladesh chose the wrong option batting first was a deadly mistake and good wicket and in a stadium which has better record teams batting 2nd in T20s. But who do you tell that too? Our captain had little general knowledge. Am sure being the captain of BD, playing/lasting internationally for decade plus is all itself life set and accomplished. So, whatever follows is bonus now. He can just chill and earn doing nothing, forgot homework and thinking well - why does he wants to use and waste his brain? (Not that he has any).
Batted first. Needed 160 to stay in the game. 160 chase is a lot difficult chasing than 137 - theres no pressure on the chasing side. 160 would have made they play rushed shots trying to keep up with the RRR, It's just different game. That's not to say they wouldn't have won it.
Team combo -sucks. Batting order is a mess. The new coach is a BIGGER KHET, than some of this players who have come from lesser well off backgrounds and lost themselves with little success and some big taka's they've made already. Which one can't blame them really, as they've probably never dreamt of becoming what they are now and earning such amounts with the cricket success they got early. HINT HINT (you know who the players are, lets not name and shame).
Bangladesh has to FIXI UP. Next match bench both Tamim and Naim. Try Shanto and Liton Das. Naim has to he left out to try Shanto or One of Afif of Mahedi needs to he left out. I'd leave Afif out, he is a nothing bowler and bats run a ball, Mahedi is better choice and can hit big late on. Shanto in Afif out, Shanto? Too many left handers? How about Mithun in Naim out.

What was the score when he dropped that? Even if he caught it, if would've made no difference. Only that Fizz would have had a wicket despite bowling 95% of the deliveries poor defending 137. Still would've satisfied him though. Glad he didn't get the wicket and Liton dropped it.

Happy for Pakistan. Hope cricket comes back like every year, as normal in other countries. It's a cricket mad nation and their fans have been unfortunately deprived of decade for near a decade.
Btw. I have a crush on that Zainab. Damn isn't she a HASEEN

Bunch of embarrassments.. one team looks like they are coming from a recently concluded T20 tournament and the other team is us.. Why did we bat first again? Why is Mahedi the gully cricketer batting at 3?

Bangladesh never won a game on Pakistan soil. This BD team had the chance, still had the chance. But it has batted worse than pre 2015 T20 teams. With such capabilities, abilities in some of these players which they've shown in the past last few years they are capable of doing good. But this two innings batting has been absolutely CASUALLy pathetic.

Moronic decision by Dullah. He is indeed DULL of the highest order. Not a captain material. Man is Dull-Mahmudullah. Casual cricketer with ultra limitations. He is probably just happy to be captain. Will probably be on his iphone now to his wife telling them how amazing lahori biryani is and how he is "loving it at the moment"

The Fizz needs a break from T20s. I think he's best format is ODI, and should stick to that. ODI gives him more time and overs, plus when there ball gets bit older after he can be useful with cutters. Fizz should he in the T20 squad but few others need to be tried out before WC. Give Mahmud Hasan a chance.
You can criticise Fizz all you want. Shafiul isn't any greater. Al Amin is still better than Shafiul even if he didnt do too well. Al Amin has a unique action, quite a lucky bowler gets crucial wickets, sometimes very efficiently slowing down the score. But when you're defending 137 it's no one bowlers fault. Blame the batters, batsmen lost them game. Game was over half way stage. This wicket was good, minimum 160.

Hard to believe PAK had lost 6 straight T20s and got whitewashed by Lanka. They are killing us in all 3 departments.

Who the hell cares man. Alamin is our best bowler and everyone is daylights behind him.
I remember how ages ago you were so adamant about bad alamin is. Don't think I didn't forget. You're comments are becoming silly now.

Top 7 should be this. You don't need to go down to 8. Number 8 likely won't get ball to face, as its a 20 ov format.
If say Tamim goes out, Naim can steady the ship and carry on end with liton going hard, then you have Sarkar at 4 who can go hard if Liton goes out, with Naim still holding one end with a say 115SR (at least), then you have Afif and Dullah to come hit big hits. You got to have a right balance. Opener has to hw aggressive after few deliveries of the innings, see how the pitch behaves then attack and try to go after the opposite side instead of making them feel at ease and letting them bowl their lines easily without any pressure on them.
By 13th (at the least) get 100 on the board, this wicket seems decent 160 is the minimum. Getting 100 before 13 gives you chance to get 160 or beyond if accelerated well at the end overs.

I agree with this lineup. Liton Das is a big no no outside powerplays in T20s. He clearly sucks against Spin, which is a shame. I don't think Mahedi Hasan will last very long at the International level.

Ideally my lineup for the T20 World cup:
1. Tamim (can't drop him as much as all of us know He isn't ideal for T20)
2. Liton Das(wk) (He is best utilized inside Powerplays)
3. Mohammad Naim (#2 and #3 can be interchangeable) but the point is Liton must bat inside powerplays
4. Mushfiqur Rahim
5. Mahmudullah(c)
6. Soumya Sarkar (He sucks against spin, so Assuming Mushy and Riyad take it deep, they don't bowl spin at death)
7. Afif Hossain (I still think he has the goods, he needs to earn his promotion to top order)
8. Aminul Islam Biplob
9. Shafiul Islam (only use his quota before 12 overs)
10. Al Amin Hossain
11. Mehedi Hasan Rana/Hasan Mahmud/any promising surprise pick from U-19/ Fizz's slot

I have said it before, BPL is not a benchmark for selection in int games. However, going by BPL standards, guys who scored most in this squad are afif , Luton (both openers) followed by Soumya.. this should be the lineup.. if tamim is playing, Luton and Soumya should open followed by tamim. There tamim can play slowly while the openers can go gung-ho. Liton and Soumya should not be in the squad if they are not opening.
I watched the first match.. was surprised by the tamim naim move. You can't change playing positions like that. My lineup until musfuk and shakib gets back would be:
1. Liton
2. Somaya (both will attack. Score might be 0/1, or 100/0). A Team like ours, Need to take that risk.
3. Tamim ( damage control for 0/1, suits his Odi style batting)
4. Afif ( he should be ahead of naim if not opening)
5. Naim ( can stop land slides)
6. Mamadulla ( best finisher in t20)
7. Saifudin ( best finisher after mamadulla) disputed?!
8. Any Bowler bar miraz
9. Any Bowler bar miraz
10. Any Bowler bar miraz
11. Fizz ( cry how much you want, he is still the best fast bowler we hav got).
When mushi comes in, no 4, afif at 5 and so on.
Soumya and Luton needs to be dropped if they are not opening.

sorry, Correction. I already forgot about Mohammad Saifuddin, the Warrior.
revised Ideal best lineup for T20 (sorry, Tamim fans)
1. Liton (wk)
2. Naim
3. Shakib
4. Mushy
5. Riyad(c)
6. Soumya
7. Afif
8. Saifuddin
9. Aminul Islam Biplob
10. Shafiul
11. Al Amin Hossain
Looks like a dream lineup subhanAllah! loads of bowling options and decent batting depth with a proper gameplan.
