Do not just blame selectors to blame, think carefully and you will find the newcomers are justified. To build up toward 2011 world cup, now is the time to introduce newcomers, rather than later. Each one of the three newcomers are the top performers in their respective positions (opening, middle, pace bowling).
Also the team is 14 member squad, so one spot is still available to an extra-ordinary performer in practice match. A consolation for naggers...

Is Rasel fit? then he shd definitely get the nod ahead of Rajib considering the conditions. I'd go with Mash, Rasel, Razzak, Shakib, Riyad and Mehrab for the bowling lineup.

The selectors include three inexperienced players in the team and probably two of them in the first ODI will get the cap. And after this series selectors will drop them and give a excuse,"They are unable to fulfill our expectation". In the next series again they will bring some players from under19 team. This discarded players might join next year ICL. ICL should choose some of this selectors for their own league so that they can help them to find some young genius.

"Robin is very keen learner, dont have say things twice" Champaka Ramanayke. According to the report Champaka has been coaching Robin for the last six months.
Khaled Mahmud Shujon said recently "Robin is bowling better than Mash at this moment" (I am sorry ubtil I see it with my own eyes wont believe it.)
Shamokal report. Scrol down to where it says তিন নবিনের কথা

You said it all.
This team is too inexperienced. Its true that these 3 new comers did well agnst Srilanka but this is not the NZ A team.
I am also surprised to see that Nafees Iq didn't get the chance.
What is so wrong with Nafees.
All these plyrs like Jun S ,Nazimudn,Mehrb jnr got there chances to open without any success so why won't Tamim's bro get one.
Man I was so eager to watch the Iqbl brthrs open & this would have given Tamim some extra power.
Nafees also got a 57 in prctce mtch.

The absence of Raqibul Hasan will leave a big hole in our ever fragile middle order. Will Naeem Islam be up to the task ? Only time will tell !

same here, I was also not expecting any new faces. Introducing too many new faces is just ultimately destroying these young players. Look what happened to Dollar now. He was introduced early, now out of the team and frustrated.

Just because a player performed against age group or academy group, qualifies him for a national team call is a claim that is laughable and pathetic. There was a need to include atleast one of the seniors like Nafis/Rajin or Tusher in the squad for the ODIs..

Exactly, selectors are making a chain....after this series Mehrab, Junaid may be out of team, again some new faces, then will come the turn of Imrul, Robin to be out, and it will go on as it has been happening.

1.Tamim Iqbal
2.Junaid Siddique (got chance in AUS tour as SN and Nazimuddin was not available, now in the team by doing nothing, can't expect from him)
3.Mohammad Ashraful (C) (no comments)
4.Mahmudullah Riyad (can he score some runs? can he bowl at least 6/7 overs? hope fields well)
5.Shakib Al Hasan
6.Naeem Islam (Debutant, surely nervous, no expectation. same for Imrul Kayes)
7.Mushfiqur Rahim (no ODI runs after that WC)
8.Abdur Razzak
9.Mashrafe Mortaza
10.Shahadat Hossain
11.Syed Rasel/Mahbubul Alam

What to expect from this batting line up now? again we are in a position of destroying some growing players. In all 3 ODIs, we will be struggling to score 150+, everyone will be frustrated, Bagh mama will make some young players scape-goat and we will move forward to SA tour.

I do not understand the policy of the selectors.
Nazmul Hossain got chance in Australia tour. played two matches, did not bowl in one match and 10-1-55-1 in other match, now dropped from the team. Why? why he was selected though?
Riyad scored 1 run and bowled only 4 overs in Australia tour. He is in the team. same for Mehrab
Player just played against Australia is out to give chance to performer against SRL academy team. why not include Ziaur Rahman then?
I am not saying include Ziaur, Nazmul or exclude Riad, Mehrab, my point is there must have some sort of policy and consistency in picking up the team. Including player for 1 series then picking another one for next series is never going to help. Selectors are not learning from the ICL exodus that how frustrating they are for these young players and in a whole, they are destroying our future. all the players are now on the edge of their seat, no one is relaxed as anyone can be out at any moment.

BK bhai, I am also hoping so...
But Robin has some problem in his action, also he was very raw the last time i saw him. I don't know how much he has overcome it by working with Ramanayeke. Hope he will be not a repeat of Nazmul, Dollar story.

Can Anybody please provide details on Naeem Islam? Cricinfo don't have enough details
Just wanna know how he bats and bowl...is he attacking or moderate
How good fielder is he? Anybody saw him playing?
I know Imrul is kinda slow starter - kinda gutsy opener if he can spend couple of oovers
Got a habbit of scoring big scores if in touch - but same law applies like other Bengali Batsman
Robin is not fast (same like Nazmul or Tapash) - but is attacking. Can swing specially inswingers. His best weapon is yorker. Weak point is lack of speed
I don't know why the wise selectors didn't give Tushar, Rajin and Nafees Iqbal another chance...they deserve another chance
