Bd lose to King Kong because they weren't serious.... Every time bd lose when they feel im a street don ... Can eat banana & throw the Sokla anyway they like... But when bd serious & get jutar bari by public in the street or hotel or by board or coach... They do play well. So i m still hoping, tigers will roar again with their self belive. & make us lough again.

"Gora" Akram has made a sporting pitch at Mirpur as per ICC Tournament norms. All NCL or Picnic Kiriket hiruj will have to deal with some real bowling here. Won't have guys without ample hand-eye coordination succeed here with the bat. Mere containment bowlers will be taken to task on this pitch as the format requires batters to take chances.

Very alarming sines, we would probably lose by miles.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/world-t2...ch/716543.html
Gayle did not shine and Dilshan performed and still the result is clinical win for WI.
Nothing to brag about.
Get in the groove, try to out perform Narine, Bravo, Smith, Sammy.
And please do not fall for Rasel's military medium.

I remember after almost succumbing to defeat in their first test in Fatulla, Ponting and Co. decided not to give another wicket to Mohammad Rafique and they were stick to the plan, handled him gently and effectively. So although he bowled miserly could not even get Gillespi wicket let alone others in second test.
Similarly when BD succumbed to Petersen's spin during first test, the wishful thinking was the whole team would be cautious and will not surrender in second test but the expectation matched the scenario where Petersen ended with his career best as MOM and heck MOS probably (cant rem).
Now I see the same history about to get repeated provided that our captain's apropos "we are slow learners." Knowing strength of Narine we are about to hand him his career best, HOPE NOT!

So we still have Razzak in the team?
Why not replacing him with Mominul who can bowl a over or two. I can bet that he will bowl better than Razzak.

Here it what I said.
To clarify: When there is no game, we can criticize and show our frsutration, but when the team play, we go to stadium or watch game live and give full support. But eventually its the player who can make a difference.
And btw its a fan's message board. You have all the right to disagree with another member's comment but it's silly to ask somebody to not express his opinion just becasue you don't agree with the cooment.

you are right, I should have just said "I disagree" , my bad.

What is the use of a bowler if you cannot bowl him or if you bowl him then he will lose the match for you? I can bet west indian batsmen will have run feast of Razzak.
In your proposed squad we already have enough bowlers.
Pacers...
Al-Amin
Mash/Taskin/Zia (Mash is injured. So Taskin or Zia is likely to replace him)
Full time spinners...
Shakib
Gazi (though ideally I would play Riyad instead of Gazi)
I would fill the rest 4 overs with Nasir, Shabbir and Mominul.

So you want to play with 8 batsman and 4 bowlers? To me playing with 8 batsman is just waste of space.

I want to keep Razzak and Reza out of the team. We have seen enough of them.
If we want 5 regular bowlers in the team then we can make the team like....
1 Tamim
2. Anamul
3. Mominul
4. Shakib
5. Mushy
6. Nasir
7. Sabbir
8. Riyad
9. Gazi
10.Zia/Taskin
11. Al Amin
I know Shamsu is a good T20 batsman. But he didn't have the chance to play in the practice matches. Also Mominul is carrying good form. So I would take Mominul ahead of Shamsu.

Mominul is not a big all-rounder. But he is handy as a bowler.
To me Mominul, Nasir and Sabbir can bowl 4 overs quota together.
And if you ask me, I would always chose Mominul ahead of Razzak as a LOI bowler considering their current forms.

I thought he is shorter than Anamul!
J/k aside, Mominul can bowl a few overs if not all four in T20. He surely WILL do better than Razzak at the moment.
Razzak should not be in the team due to lack of his form, period.

Mushfiq
Sabbir

Gazi
Mashrafe(if fit, otherwise Taskin)

We have proper batsman till no. 7 and no. 8 to no. 10 are handy with the bat. Sorry Riad fans, but in my book Riad is a bowler who can bat these days.

Indeed
I'd rather play with 10 men than having Lalla or Reza

I heard from some sources that Zia is joining the side. Good decision because we need some slogger down the order and one who can bowl military medium.
So then I will add him in my 10 men squad
