I still back Nasir. Yeah, he fell from grace with the bat spectacularly. No excuses. But he over delivered with the ball, and has been doing that. Also, his fielding is always a plus, and I just don't mean catches, ground fielding as well.
The batting thing is a mental block, but it is also true that you cannot expect someone to click with two overs left. That to me, is one of the hardest things to do. He definitely should bat higher up, if he is really in the side as a batsman.
I am okay with Miraz or Mossadek in future series replacing him though. But it would be a shame if Sanzamul, Abul or Mithun took his spot.

Wow didn't realize he had that many under his belt, didn't he give up captaincy after '07?
Even then up til that point our matches against Zim were pretty tooth and nail.

Sad story about Nasir is that there was once upon a time, he was one of the Best Batsmen in Bangladesh. The reason why we are giving Anamul Haque and Nasir Hossain chances is that they have enough experience and talent to potentially become as good as Tamim and Shakib.
I can see a lot of people are talking about how teams such as England bat all the way down, but that doesn't mean we should try to follow the exact same way. We just don't have players or tailenders that have the ability to bat. What we should do is make sure that someone like Tamim can for once bat out all 50 overs regardless of his strike rate. Believe me, Bangladesh will win almost every single game like that. Shabbir is enough to go for big shots provided he comes before the 45th over.
That boy Tamim spoke a bit too much, what was he on rambling about, awards and pitch, and what not banglish mumbo jumbo...Whenever he talks, Bd loses. I hope it's not the case this time.
