They would have had the chance if they defeated England, but the way they went to bat did not look like they were trying for all options to win that match. They are still trying to play their natural game, regardless if wickets are falling or the pitch conditions are against them and the funny thing is that they are encouraged to play their natural game regardless of the game situation.

Now the chances for Bangladesh to go to the semis is not there, England and South Africa will play against each other to win that spot and it should be a good match to watch.

That is defeatist talk. No, Bashar, there are 4 games left still. Until the 4th place is decided that is how it is.

Bdcricmad....Change the weather link. You typed in "Barbados" and CNN weather doesnt recognise that cuz its a country. Type in "Bridgetown" or do it manually by clicking on the map location.

if b'desh's batting holds, then this match is ours. if not, then the match will be competitive. toss is vital in these strange caribbean pitches.

Win the Toss, Bat First play Smart score in the 275+ range, get a good start from Masri/Rasel and the Spinners will bundle them for 130ish NRR is then lifted and become England supporters for the next match

If Bowl First and we bundle them for 150, were gonna extend the game to the 40th over which hurts us in the NRR

Bangladesh always field first when they win toss. But the question is will Bashar win the toss tomorrow and field?

We should take field. Batting first could be very tough on this pitch, even against Ireland's pacers who aren't so bad.

But Bangladesh always play better if they bat first. I don't like the idea of fielding first. Reminds me of those days when we used to be in our para and we'll die to bat first!

Not necessarily true. most of our wins against top teams such as Aus,SA,SRL, IND and the warmup with NZ came batting second. We are actully good at chasing targets rather than setting one as Fleming said.
