Just when you think that we can't make things any worse for ourselves, you get proved wrong!

108 all out!
Sujon last man to go for 23. We lasted all of 35.1 overs. Highest scorer for BD: Pilot!

yet again, mashud was BD's saving grace followed closely by mahmud.atleast we made it to 100+ now only a miraculous performance from the bowlers can save us from anothing defeat...but i guess im asking for too much.

SA win by 10 wickets and in 12 overs! They came out trying to boost their net runrate and that is exactly what they have done. Another humiliating defeat for Bangladesh!

Man...
Can we forfeit the game against Kenya? This just isn't our World Cup. We'll win it in 2007 though...a big 'inshallah' to that.

When will this sad tale end? We have consistently scored between 100 and 125 in these 4 WC matches so far. We cannot expect any different result in the next 2 matches. The thing that is of concern is that we are getting worse than some of the non-test playing nations. I am not saying this out of frustration, but if we were asked to qualify for the World Cup again, there is a distinct possibility that we might not be able to do so.
So is anyone in the management thinking about the real problems? Nazim has clearly pointed out some issues:
1. Players should not be changed too soon.
2. One that I liked most is that there is not too much difference in the players abilities in any case.
3. Past players should have more contribution in the development of our cricket.
I know what will happen after the team lands in Dhaka. There will be some scapegoats, some heads would roll. The Coach will be fired and similar short term fixes would be looked at. We will be where we are.

We reached 100?
That Pilot is screwing up everything.
So far, we have 120, 124, 32/2 and 108. WOW. Century in three matches and was denied by rain in the other one. Amazing.
Ash looked confident but too cocky and too small - way too small. We should make good use of him by playing him down the order.
Sanwar looked the most composed before he knicked it. When I opened up my TV, BD was at 5 for 1 after 5 overs. Thought, wow, did the batsmen really learn ? And saw Ash hit those balls quite good. 10 overs later, I was in bed, watching yet another miserable (unexcusable) performance from the top six.
I am even more glad that I didn't wait to watch our bowling. Talha is very very inexperienced for this.
Instead of sending this team to Australia, we should appeal to send the team to ICC Trophy (as Bangladesh A) and send them out to play against opponents that we have a chance to beat from time to time. One of them will be Kenya. We should immediately set up a tour of kenya and send the national team as the A team, just like the Kneyans do.
Kenya play in all sorts of tournaments against the other ICC sides and get a boost from defeating them, we need that to boost our attitude.
