Too much is being of this game. I think BD will easily take this one. Afg is too overconfident for BD's liking but BD should not relax after winning this one. Both Nep and HK are very dangerous in Asian conditions. Nepal has got excellent spinners and HK has got both pacers and spinners. On their day batting first if one batsman click against bad BD balling and post 150+ then they can also definitely strangulate BD batting
Overall I am confident BD will win all 3 games. It will thrash Afghanistan but one game against either HK or BD will be tight. That is my prediction.

I say nepal, bd will take them lightly & will collapse. & somebody like riad dhojo or puran dhaka razzak have to save bd. but we will get there... Super 10

Why not wish Reza that he can play to his potential and give his best? A good over or two from him might change a T20 match...never know!

If Gazi or Mash. is not fully recovered, Zia may come as a replacement

t20 is all about big hitters as u have to clear the roofs , i see only few of them in the team , i like how anamul bats nd now joined by tamim ,sakib , riyad , zia . i just hope some how zia gets into the team instead of reza or gazi , nd shamsur should be in ahead of mominul .
best line up if possible
1# tamim iqbal (big six hitter)
2# anamul haque (big six hitter)
3# shamsur rahman
4# sakib al hasan (big six hitter)
5# musfiqur rahim
6# mahmudullah riyad (big six hitter)
7# nasir hossain
8# ziaur rahman (big six hitter)
9# mashraffie mortaza
10# abdur razzak

Mushy and Mashrafi are not big six hitters BUT Riyad is???
Riyad
ODI ball faced - 1865
Six - 17
0.91%
T20 ball faced - 323
Six - 13
4.02%
Mash
ODI ball faced - 1446
Six - 44
3.04%
T20 ball faced - 163
Six - 14
8.6%
Conclusion - Mash faced less deliveries than Riyad in ODI, yet scored three times more 6. In T20 also, he hits 6 twice as much as Riyad.

Firstly, our record in T20 is very poor. We often get beaten by Ireland,Netherlands,Scotland.
Secondly, we are playing extremely poor cricket. Afghanistan has a big advantage in this match.

The only way to win T20 for us is if our batsmen can put up 190+ scores. long gone those days when our bowling attack could defend any decent total.

Afghanistan 168/6 (20.0/20 ov)
You think they will likely to score that if they chose to bat first?
Considering how close ZIM and BAN teams are.

Afghanistan 168/6 (20/20 ov) . Just wonder how bd would be handling this type of score? This is my fear. I am sure if afgan bat first they will post 160+ score. Technically we shld bat first if we win the toss.

Bangladesh 1-3 favourites to beat Afghanistan -- just to put things into perspective. It will be a major upset if they lose.

1 change for this one
Dullah out Shamsur in. Shabbir bat at 7.
Nasir and shabbir can chip in if things get out of control.

Perfect XI would be:
1) Tamim ( he needs to play his natural game not build an innings)
2) Shamsur (wet his pants last time he faced Zardan but he should get another chance to show it was one off- if he repeats what he did last time then he should say gd bye to t20 wc)
3) Anamul (yes he failed in the warm up games but this guy is perfect for t20s. Played 3 t20 int games and proven already that he can play this format)
4) Shakib
5) Mushy (wk- His fielding is not that gr8 so if he is fit enough to keep then let him do it. Anamul is very good fielder and good fielders can win matches in t20s)
6) Nasir (just for his fielding- bonus whatever he does with the bat with his current form)
7) Shabbir (I would have picked Zia because of his form but since he is not there I'll go with shabbir ahed of Reza and Riyad who is better batsman than both and fielding)
8) Riyad/Reza (no option as we need a 6th bowling option but Riyad should get in imho)
9) Mash
10) Gazi
11) Razzak
We should go with only one pacer and 3 spinners. Afghans are very weak against spinners.
