Never seen such a dead MT for a long time.

What happened to the people? Did I offend them so much that they are that upset/traumatized or even lost interest in kirket all together? Perhaps, we need a new controversy to get us going again?

I wouldn´t mind watching our boys playing against China, Nepal, UAE, Uganda and PNG. Might even enjoy our initial wins against China knowing well that China will kick our backends regularly within 7/8 years. Our boys get regular thrashings by S. Corea and Japan in hockey. Footballers thrashed by Maldives. So, a China Wash is very probable.

Cricket is not dead. We need China.

Power can corrupt anything, there is no exception.

China in all likelyhood will be the new bully (BCCI) if they where to rise in the cricketing world.

This BCCI saga should work like a tonic...just keep Mashrafee in the dressing room.

right... lets get down to action

I think considering the fog, the temperature, the dew... time to go with 3 pacers

my XI

Tamim
Shamsur
Marshal
Mominul
Mushfiq
Nasir
Shakib
Gazi
Robiul
Rubel
Al Amin

we will need the whole batting lineup in these conditions. Gazi-Shak are good enough. Nasir, Mominul even Marshal can provide short spells to rest those 2 and the seamers if needed. I just hope Rubel and Al Amin keeps things neat and tidy and we can easily create some pressure. Mushy alone can make a huge difference. He needs to know what options he has, who which bowler is ideal for which situation. Fielding setup is a huge factor... something Mushy messes up everytime a new batsman walks in or gets set. he doesnt know how to create pressure on a new batsman or manipulate the fielding when the batsman is set. Hope he improves, and if not, tamim can guide him too

I disagree. Our pacers are not good enough that we should play 3 of them specially given the fact that they cannot bat. Spin attack with Riyad/Gazi/Shakib will be much more effective then the pacers. Maybe we can hope for couple of early wickets from the pacers.

Sri Lankans are good at playing spin. So, three pacers a good idea IMHO.

We have Gazi as specialist, the we might have Mullah and Mominul can bowl as well. So no need for Razzak as the second specialist spinner IMHO.
