I was trying to get news about Saleem Mukuddem, the Bermudan all-rounder who had a good spell with the ball against Sri Lanka (2-50) but was dropped for indiscipline in the match against India.
He is maybe one of the few good cricketers of Bermuda, with batsman David Hemp, fast bowler Hurdle and spinner Leverock.
I couldn't find if he is going to be included in the squad for tomorrow match... anybody knows?

Bermuda captain, Irvine Romaine, said his team would put up a stiff contest, and remained hopeful of winning its last match at the tournament.

``It's been good to play our part in the World Cup,'' Romaine said. ``We've suffered two big losses, but we're looking to finish with a win.

``Bangladesh is a good and young side, but we might catch them napping ... you never know.''

Bermuda's squad features just one professional player, batsman David Hemp who captains Glamorgan in the English county competitions.

Yes, he has 36 batting average in ODIs, scored 28 against Sri Lanka and was out for 0 against India caught by cheating Uthappa.

I also read that opener (and former captain) Clay Smith scored a couple of centuries in 1997 when Bermuda played domestic ODI tournament in the West indies, but has been in poor form recently after suffering knee injury.

The team needs to keep in mind that we are still underdogs in this competition. So they should be focused on the reality and work to improve their game day by day. Also it woul be a good day for some batting practice, so we should bat first.:p

I totally agree with you.. I think we should bat first and get our batsmen to make some records... if we bat first tomorrow.. may be we can beat our highest score in ODI so far. I am hopeful that Nafees and Aftab will finally show us some batting..

Spot on. And surely Dav Whatmore is a good enough coach to drill this into the heads of our Tigers. Enough with the sunglass-posing and 32-pati-daat-ber-kora hashi for Mash n Ash. Time to get on the job n to get it done with conviction.

Go Bangladesh!

I agree with everything you said, but I'm still scared to bat 1st even if its against the lowly Bermudans. Especially if we have a shaky start with the bat and some quick wickets fall, our middle order will feel a true pressure and I'm not sure what score we would be able to post. We are used to seeing some batting collapse under pressure.

Enough with all the negative vibes. If we play to our potential, we should win this match quite comfortable and our "Boys" will make every bengali happy from all around the world . InshAllah we will win tomorrow and play in the super 8s'.

How good are these two officials for tomorrows match? Interestingly none of them are (except 3rd umpire) are from the subcontinent. One is from Eng and the other probably SA..........................Bookies are all around, spreading their filthy web over each and every person involved in the cricket. They will try to get Ind back in track whatever it takes.................Hope BD will not be vanished in the Bermuda Triangle!!!
