Best of luck to both Team Bangladesh and Team India.
It is an honor for us Bangladesh to be able to play in a semi-final of the Champions Trophy 2017. It is a sheer/genuine pleasure for us, all fans of Bangladesh cricket team and enthusiasts of the game. It is a super big deal to play against a very matured, seasoned, superbly skilled and champion team like India. Win or lose, Bangladesh will learn and grow from this wonderful experience.
P.S. Shalar rain, stay away!

Some weather prediction says chance of showers at 11am and 1pm, some place it says clear and sunny. Few places I've seen so far says clear day. We will find out a day closer!
Whatever it is, most definitely have to bowl first. Win toss and bowl. InshAllah win the toss for once!
I had anticipated that even if we go through we will take the 2nd position so bought tickets accordingly long before. Unfortunately bought only 2 tickets. I wish I could take more people with me as we will be largely outnumbered at Edgbaston. But no matter how small the number of Bd supporters will be there we will give 110%. We will be very vocal iA. Lots of bantering will be taking place for sure.
I was at Cardiff and it was the best day of my life as a Bd fan. 6 of us were there and we did not miss a single ball. At times it was excruciating to watch but the reward we got, in the end, is just worth all the pain we have born. I just felt numb towards the end. Overfilled with emotions.

I would be tempted to bat first. Put the runs of the board (more than 300) and India will panic when chasing since they will be going up against 4 of our fast bowlers – it will not be easy. In the 1st 10 overs of powerplay, I will use Fizz to bowl a max of 2 overs since Rohit will be opening for India, and we all know Rohit struggles against him. I'm seriously not a fan of Shabbir batting at #3 – it should be either Mushfiqur or Mahmudullah. Shabbir is better where he usually bats : #6. Mashrafe should bowl at least 5 within the first 10 overs. Also, bowl his remaining overs before the 40th. Rubel and Fizz should bowl 8 overs of the final 10. Shakib and Mosaddek are fine as spinners.

That would have been my inclination as well but this is England Eddbaston, Birmingham. Most likely the match will be curtailed (rain affected). Why take the risk? SA lost against Pak after winning toss and deciding to bat first, rain came to play. Aus-NZ washed away to no result. I would not risk it in the month of June at this venue. Win the toss bat second. Plus Ind is a very good chaser.
