Life is weird. About 3 weeks ago my cousin's shashuri had a mild stroke, she was ok for a day or two. than she had another one, and she's been on coma since than. Her is still alive by life support. My fufa knew about this woman 3 weeks ago, but look now, today he's long gone and she's still among us. This is 2nd time I saw someone dieing from cancer in the last 6 months. The pain I saw my brother in law suffer is unbearable. I never knew how lucky I was to have my father around me my entire life and even today. My nephew is 7 years old, you can't imagine the things he says he would to do see his father. He was one of the funnest kid to be around, and now its like something has suck all the fun out of him.

My dear bhais and apus,
I was just talking to my dear Tigers_eye bhai, our dearest Mijan bhai and I came to learn that his cousin sister passed away a week ago. Tigers_eye bhai is very sad right now. Please include this beloved late sister of ours in your future prayers and good thoughts along with for all who passed by us and crossed over.

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi rajeon.
Agree with you Ajfar. I sometimes think of it as well that we just don't realise how lucky we are to have close ones around than the ones that don't. Even thoughts of these give shiver down the spine.
All we can do is to pray for their good deeds to get accepted by Allah, and be patient. May Allah give us the strength!

Certainly/there is no doubt what so ever/absolutely each every soul will taste death. May Allah guide us so that we would not be among the losers when the time comes.
She was just 46. Two daughters one going to college @ khulna and the other I think in grade 10. May her soul rest in peace. (Cancer: gone in 6 months or so)

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.
Didn't visit this thread for a long time. Now kinda forced. Lately, I haven't been regular at this site. Well, it was my mother. I have not seen any stronger human being as of yet. She had fought 7+ years of Stage 4 breast cancer, spread through all her body. Unfortunate, she lost the battle last week (20 Jan 2019). Chemo after chemo she took the disease on. Her will power of fighting this disease was unmatched. At the end, the pain was unbearable yet she didn't quit. She passed away peacefully.
May you, my beloved mother, rest in peace. May Allah Subhana watala forgive all of your sins. May you have a house in Jannah along side the righteous. May you be raised up with the prophets. Ameen.

Dear Mijan bhai, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. A mother's connection is a special one.
I am sure that there were innumerable special moments and memories with her.
Reminisce.
Stay strong my brother.
May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear about your loss TE bhai. Parents are like umbrellas over our head, and once that is removed, we feel a sense of helplessness and void that nothing can fill up.
Be patient at this calamity and seek reward from Allah. Indeed to Allah we belong and to Him is our return.
What will benefit your deceased mother the most at the moment is asking Allah repeatedly for her forgiveness. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A man’s status will be raised in Paradise and he will ask, ‘How did I get here?’ He will be told, ‘By your son’s du’aa’s (prayers) for forgiveness for you." (Reported by Ibn Maajah, no 3660; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1617)
Other acts from you that will benefit your deceased mother include: charity on her behalf and doing hajj/ umrah on her behalf.
I pray for your deceased mother with the prayer the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught us:
Quote:
O Allah, forgive and have mercy upon her, excuse her and pardon her, and make honorable her reception. Expand her entry, and cleanse her with water, snow, and ice, and purify her of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Admit her into the Garden, protect her from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
