We're lucky they didn't have Irfan put on a blindfold and bowl...just to humiliate us.
I think our Opar Bangalee dada babu was just trying to rub the salt in when he selected Sehwag..psy ops

i need everyone's attention on this...
about five minutes ago i was reading cricinfo's bulletin on our match and rahul bhatia was all praise about mohammad ashraf... he even went so far as to say "if ashraf is the future of bd cricket then we won't be minnows anymore..." now, please try and find the aforementioned sentence in the bulletin... it disappeared...

Wake up for what exactly? To see sehwag and tendulkar notch up these runs in 10 overs? I think not my friend. I'd rather sleep because sometimes...ignorance is bliss.

I will support BD till I die but firstly, ARY is not showing the second half of the game and secondly, after a long day of hope and anticipation, it doesnt exactly warm your heart to see BD 158/7 and sehwag bowling maidens.

I can almost see how the almighty Captain and Coah et al, will put the same ol', overused spin on things are the 'Goruhara' against India: "we're making progress..blah blah blah".
I can understand how Bangalees can be suicidally delusional about their state of being..I'm puzzled why an Aussie, a supposedly pragmatic race can be so out of touch w/ the reality..!!
When I read Bashar's comment after they got Paki beating..you'd thing he was talking about a diff BD team...not the one you and I saw being humiliated.!!
Before they can fix anything..they need to keep the emotions in check and admit how meek their state is despite all the tours/efforts.
Just because we supposedly did 'well', we gotta face the music....sadly we have not arrived yet..!! Asia cup just proved it...

lets be practical
we are cursing the hell out of our players, but come on lets be realistic. we are playing the mighty india, second best team in the world.
i think we expect too much of our team. my expectation is see BD score around 180 or last 50 overs....thats impressive enough
