I think we gained 2 or so ranking points after the three wins. This loss will undo them.

I'm getting that nostalgic feeling of childhood... drinking sweet tea, eating chips, and watching SL humiliate the daylights out of us.

Will sure do mate.
I will be here to comment on Bangladesh's next series which is against the West Indies, scheduled for March - April this year. That series will be very interesting.
Bangladesh's seniors are really doing their part consistently - today is an exception - and they form a core which drives the rest of the team. This is their strength.
Sri Lanka has a lot of young players coming up and if the mental aspect is handled properly, we'll soon be doing well against strong sides again. It is sad to see the present state of Sri Lanka cricket. It is hard to imagine that we have won two World Cups (ODI and T20) and been world finalists many times.
The Sri Lankan openers just completed a 50-run partnership. Let's see how it pans out in the new few overs. They seem to be throwing the kitchen sink at the bowlers. Another six.

That series has been deferred to July since Windies will be taking part in world cup qualification in March.
However, we have India-Sri Lanka-Bangladesh T20I Tri-Series in March, in Sri Lanka.

I guess in series where you already confirmed the final it's good to shuffle 1-2 performing players against players in the bench who didn't get any game. This freshens the lineup and brings competition and removes boredom.
Tamim fizz or shakib should have been rested and Mithun imrul or miraz should have been swapped

The Sri Lankan openers are making me eat my own words. Sometimes they seem tasty.

I didn't know about that postponement.
Yes the T20 tournament for the Nidahas (Independence) Trophy is something to look forward to.
I'm sure the Tigers would pose a challenge to the mighty Indians too.

Roshan Abeysinghe is trying to jinx it mentioning previous 10-wicket victories by Sri Lanka ... or am I doing it ? This over will decide.

Losing to SL should not be considered upset. But this is definitely an off day for our batting side.

The middle order hasn't turned up second time in a row. That is something they have to be aware of.

Looks like a scorecard from early 2000s when Bangladesh used to be cartered by all teams for fun.
Remember when Chaminda Vaas rocked your team in 2003 WC. Hope this is just an one off and BD will bounce back like tigers in the grand finale. After all I am an ardent Bangla fan
